fun fact: my french teacher said that if you listen to these over and over again it will sink in just like how you learned how to speak. You were born not speaking. Eventually you made noises. Then you began to form words and then you kept learning BECAUSE of your parents speaking to you in any language. Think of these as your parents and you are hearing how they speak.

But during those times, when we are with our parents we learn the context and meaning of those words visually or audibly. Here, we do not hear the sound of a coffee shop, Where we are, what we are doing, nor do we see a coffee even though they are talking at a cafe. I think that its important that you do listening In real life, or real situation.

Damn good stuff. "Everyday Chinese" do some excellent videos for sure. I tend to go with "Everyday Chinese" videos and some others. It's like when you see certain faces or logos on KZbin you just know that they have a reputation for delivering really helpful learning resources and in this case Mandarin. The thing is also is that the sentence make sense as it is a conversation that we would all have at some time and it's not like "I just wouldn't say that cos it don't make any sense to me and will just have to forget about it or ignore it cos I just can't relate to it in any intelligent manner - too weird!!". It's all relatable. Thank you so much "Everyday Chinese".
