I feel weird now by preferring to simplify my life as I get older. Very few possessions, freedom to live anywhere, single, and kids are launched.

Believe me Korean Air charge us for 1 way tickets from Los Angeles to Manila $2300.00 plus if any bags are over it's going to cost $200.00 a bag. 28 inch bags international not counting the wheels on the bags. So watch out everyone I booked our tickets 3 months ahead to no discounts these days

I bought a new motorbike and no temp plate nothing. I had to wait nearly 3 months and then received a printed registration but no plate. My wife took us to a photo copy business that made a metal license plate for a little less than 300 pesos. I was in several check points with no registration previously and luckily they understood and no worries. A bizarre learning experience 😂

Talking about tornados, I have a home just East of San Antonio. The yard got hit with either a hopper or a very small tornado sometime during the night of May 14. It took out my main power pole along with some chainlink fence it landed on. I’m going back there next week for my annual medical checkups with all my specialists. Hopefully I don’t find a lot of other damage like on the roof, or the solar system up there. Right now, no other obvious damage.

Eating in restaurants where you are expected to tip is where the robbery comes in not fast food. Most menu meals in a standard restaurant are $10 to $18. PLUS $3-$5 for drinks. If you want starters those are $9 to $15 each. And the suggested tip could buy you 2 meals at a fast food place.

I am 3 weeks from flying to my new life in the Philippines. I am shipping 10 extra large Balikbayan boxes, and my 75 inch TV, and my wonderful shipper is going to hold them for me until I find a house there. I am bringing 2 dogs and flying into Cebu. Will it be easier for me to take a ferry to Dumaguete being that I will have my dogs? I think that I will stay in Cebu for a couple of days to recover from the long flight and adjust to the time change.

To you both, if you have a problem with Police or Highway Patrol gives you hard time Call this guy name, Ruffy Tulfo. He handles some issue that officers are not doing a good job. Like asking cash for no reason especially if they know that people are knew. Get their name and time etc...

Found this article online. Now this tiny tank can hold what? 0.5 liters or so? So if you fill it up completely to 100 bar with the compressor (forget about it using the hand pump, 10 bars at max), you end up with 50 liters of air in the tank. At the surface, you'll be using that 50 liters of air in 4 minute or less. so at 10 meters in 2 minutes and at 20 meters in 1 minutes. 15 liters/min of air consumption is quite normal when you're doing nothing, so imagine being hyped to go "diving" and jump into the water feeling all giddy and energetic. This means breathing rates go up, it's exciting, thrilling! Woohoo fishes, coral, junk, plastic, woohoo!! Now that tiny tank that holds 200 liters gets sucked dry at over 20 liters/min meaning you won't last 2 minutes on that tank and you're down 8 meters and need to surface on your last breath. 8 meters up to the surface suddenly becomes a very, very long climb. So what do you do? You kick off and hold your last breath and shoot for the moon! Yes! Made it! but why is there foamy blood coming out of my mouth? Why can't I float? all that air that was in your lungs rapidly expanded on your way to the surface. Remember, you were at 8 meters so when you finally breached the surface, the air in your lungs expanded to twice the volume you had at depth. Now lungs are flexible but they have a limit, so you have barotrauma at the very least, pneumathorax maybe.... and this is how you die with these kinds of products. Certified, knowledgeable divers call these things "two breaths till death" so don't bother. Get trained properly, buy a small 10 liter tank and at the very least have basic knowledge of what you're doing instead of dying not knowing what you did wrong.

I normally just send myself a Balikbayan box when returning to RP. That way I don’t have to carry extra luggage. From home to here plus, I always have room in the box for extras I may want to bring. $125 for a jumbo box. It works for me.

OH yes how I used to love to run into those random Military check points. Fortunately for me one of the younger guys who saw my US license liked where I was from and suggested I take off before the old guy in charge changed his mind. Ran into the other Military checkpoint again a few miles up but they must have radioed ahead and told them about the cano and filipina and to let us pass without being stopped. They are mostly checking for drugs or anything illegal. the bike had no registratiion, license plate, no head light etc because I was borrowing the bike from a friend of the brother. I told them oh boy sure hope we don't get pulled over, they said it would never happen. i Just laughed and knew it could happen but never thought it would be a random military checkpoint in the middle of nowhere.
