@@Shootafromdat65 he decided to move away from that shit and focused on footy, that’s how. This message was more about falau.. my father and I used to pick him up for training every Tuesday and Thursday for years and we played together as I said. I know him very well and it’s cool that Tommy knew him as well

Wish the oilfields were easy to get into here in the US im stuck doing this commercial fishing that can pay good but its alot of hit or miss.

Im hoping to land a FIFO gig in 2025 with my rope access, confined space and working at heights tickets and 20+ years trade experience. Any tips would be great. VIC based though. Ready to relocate, single with no kids. Think ill have a chance?

One thing i wish i had done in my 20's & 30's FIFO drilling, was investments; using a fair whack of my $200k income for investments. Back injury ended that career, had money in the back but thats all gone now after 10 years, investments would have still been sitting there making me money. I tell every young fella now (im 43), to invest some of their pay- set themselves up for an earlier retirement
