As much as people hate this game, it was my introduction to devil may cry. when i was like 12 and i found this in the pawn shop, i picked it up immediately because it sounded so interesing, and after playing i looked for and played the other games, so ill always like it wether people hate it.

The AI must have been fucked during your playthrough cuz no way would my 10 year old ass been able to beat that game without the help of Legolas and Gimli, so they were helping out back then lol

This is super nitpicky and minor... but it always irked me that some of the promos in this game show Aragorn wielding both his sword and dagger, but he doesnt in the actual game. Its super minor, and i understand things change in development, but id always thought it wouldve been kinda cool

When I played this as a kid I thought Lurtz was flipping Aragorn the bird.

it's a fantastic game and the perfect prequel for the DMC3, but if you like DMC4 or 5 you can't understand DMC reboot, it was the precursor of the war against the establishment, the first to call out the fake news, and also got the perfect tone for something that involve demons. Not a game for soy boy, but as dmc was perfect
