Sorry Quin I can't stop watching this episode I love the first two Paper Mario games so much. The dialogue is so cheeky and sassy and ridiculously wonderfully stupid. Bowser is such an inefficiently hilarious big baby bad guy in them (Master Kohga/Team Rocket vibes). If you did a full playthrough I'd watch on repeat. The turn-based combat is a liiittle tedious but it IS strategy-heavy. I just think you'd have a blast.

I think one of the most happy and, I don’t know, soothing? relaxing? comforting? things for me to hear is a Quin video that opens with, “Oh my God, do my eyes deceive me??” There is just something about that particular opening that I love. As someone who struggles to enjoy RPGs, I've gotta say, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door is a _really good game!_ It's so charming that it totally bypasses my usual struggles to engage with its gameplay (turn-based combat is usually boring, but This One Simple Trick Will Surprise You!: press button for dynamic action).
