Those were dental sponges. They are a replacement for a toothbrush as well as giving moisture to a patient's mouth if they can't drink fluids orally The nurse dips it in water and swishes it around in the patient's mouth

It seems like you spend a decent amount of time walking between the blockage and your van when moving the hose. Is it not possible to setup the van with a remote to turn it off and on?

We do have a jetter with a foot pedal, my jetter is to old to have one though

As I mentioned in a previous comment on another video, remotes on jetters are very unreliable and usually cause more problems than they are worth.

Check the Aussie boys drain cleaning videos. They have a main hose from jetted to a hose real that has a lever on it to turn it on and off. Always within arms reach. And also has all the different heads on the real for a quick change over.

@@benji2363 Reels (not real(s)) are only usable for the whip hoses and nozzles. With all the commercial work these guys do they would only be usable on a small fraction of their jobs. For light use or residential reels are ideal however.

those blue square "lolipop" things look to be waterless disposable tooth brushes. Typically used with bed bound patients like hospital recovery or invalid care. Why they would dump them in the toilet instead of the trash is mystifying. My sister would always put her dental floss in the toilet and flush it. Even though the trashcan is between the toilet and sink.

The recurring blockages are probably caused by low-flow eco toilets, (even on a private septic with less than 30 feet to the tank, I always did two or three flushes to get solids to the tank) or an undersized drainage system, or both. Bad for the hospital, but great for our content and the jetting company. Cheers.
