Go for v strom 250, I own it after a thorough research... If you have problem with design/height, go for gixer 250..

@@petutherefillstation1756 touring / long ride ke liye Vstrom achi h but seat height kam chahiye to classic 350 will be good. Vstrom is overall a good pick if seat height is not an issue because uska engine refinement , ground clearance , servicing cost , top speed way better than Enfield. Honda Hness me 3rd service cost goes up to 5000 which feels a little too heavy on the wallet.

Not sure if you are aware of it or not, v strom has one alternative seat option for 1400 rs, they will give one extra seat with less cushion rhat will reduce the seat height to 810 mm(-25 mm lesser than regular seat)

Don't go for the alternative seat in v strom... I have purchased that one also, useless.. it's very hard... Hard like you are sitting on a wooden bench..

There were also owners of highness who gave a similar review of exorbitant labor cost for replacement of normal consumables at the time of service. I agree that the engine refinement is better than RE. But I am not prepared to sip on coffee and then get a unpleasant surprise when I am charged for it in the bill. RE they give you an estimate for example for replacement of front brake pads for Scram411 the charged me only Rs 250/- during the 10K service No Labor charge. Looking back 18 months it was a wise decision on my part to Cancel the Highness Booking and go for RE Scram411 instead

I also feel that Honda charge more. I replaced a part and they called me before replacement from showroom. I asked him the cost he said 150- 175. So I agreed. But when I asked for a bill, they charged 175 part price + Labor charge 99 with gst included. I felt like robbed.

I have highness and it's very good bike compare to that metal scarp RE. Come to servicing, after 1st servicing you need tos service her at 5k kms or 6 months whichever is earlier. If you spend 8k on your 350 cc bike in year not bad. Remember RE will save your money in servicing twice in year but burn in petrol at every kilometre . Highness give average of 35kms in traffic conditions and RE 28 to 30 max.

Who told you this bro? I own a thunderbird 2015 model and the least mileage I got was 24(cruising at 100 kmph) and the best mileage I got was 59(cruising at 65-70 kmph). On an average I get regular city mileage of 38-44 kmpl. What else do you want from a 350 cc? And service cost is 1/3 of cb350...

@@udayjagdale1 now J series engine is lot smoother. Overall if we talk about engine refinement then Honda - RE got like 21-19 difference. Honda wins with a huge margin if we talk about the features like Traction Control , Gear shift indicator , Slipper clutch so rideability becomes hassle free for riders. But if we talk about budget then RE is cheaper in servicing lekin galti se bhi defect engine wala RE ki delivery leli to service centre ke hi chakkar lagte rahenge and Honda me wo problem nhi aati because unka engine check bohot hi stages se check hokar approve hota h that is why RE ke kafi logo ko 24-28 ki average milti h bhale hi wo accelerator pe kitne hi smooth ho. Vese you should easily get 32+ mileage from classic 350

RE charges the same every time if you are going to authorized service centers, at least in Bengaluru urban, I am a first hand classic owner and my paid service cost comes around 3.5 to 5k always.

If you want a quality product you have to pay for it..i agree Honda can reduce the labour cost..but please don't compare it to royal Enfield..a highness is definitely miles ahead...if you want a very common bike (dudhwala ke pass bhi) then go for RE.

Service - 1100+gst = 1300 Engine oil - 1400 (10w30 fully synthetic hi hai... 5w30 is semi synthetic aur woh sasta hai) Oil filter + washer - about 100 So total - 2800

But labour 700 kis bat ka liya i have no idea. Agar brake pads ka labour liya hai to complain dalo email ke through. Service me air filter, brake pads, spark plug, replacement , clutch cable replacement free hota hai... Brake oil top up karna nahi padta... After a time just replace. Warranty me replace ho jayega tank. Wobble issue tyre solve hua to sahi... Warna meri tara vugto... Tata ka battery hua to replace kara lo Amaron se. Kyu ki tata kabhi v dead ho jati hai.

Sir, what I don't understand is when the bike costs 2.50L on road, why are people complaining about paying 5k every 6 months to maintain it well ? In my opinion, spending 10k per year to maintain the bike in good condition is absolutely normal. If you need very low maintenance, then there are bikes like Unicorn and Hornet 160 or Apache rtr160. Specially when you have bought it second hand where the brake pad was worn out. Dont take my comment negatively. You have bought a very nice bike. And it makes sense to spend money immediately after buying a used bike to ensure everything is fine.

its not about whether its a 5k or 10k its about their smart charging techniques. suppose after 40000or 50000 km you need engine work to be done then labour cost will be around 2/3rd of your parts cost then its problematic.

@@pareshdixit6152 Royal Enfield Stealth Black costs around the same or slightly more than Hness 350 but its service cost is very cheap. My RE service center is good and dont scam like others as my first service cost was around 910 rupees in which engine oil costed around 633 rs. Change the oil filter thingy, cleaned air filter with jet spray of air and did small lubing of side stand and all gear levers. Bike washing was free of cost as it wasnt mentioned in the service cost receipt. But in some RE showrooms they include 900 odd rupees for a service kit in first service and even include bike washing charges and make the first service cost around 1900-2200 rupees which is their money making tactic. My service center told me second service at 5000 kms will be free of cost as they will only inspect the bike.

@ratanprabhu bike is nice, service is not.. even if the billing is honest... you are better off doing regular maintenance yourself. Only if you face a problem you can go to service center. Oil filter is to be changes in 12000km so you don't need that part for every service and use aftermarket air filter, which will be there life-long.

You are wrong bro , it's affordability among masses to features that product can support. Offocurse bigwing charges more than car for single cylinder 20 bhp bike which is also open bike and easy to access serviceble parts like 100 cc . Honda is cashing on success of cb350 to make bigwing self sustaining when non of there mid to large bikes even sale . Believe me Cb350 is very easy to repair . Just keep consumable spares with you and get it done form local mechanic ho usually charge 100 -250 rs or get it your self done

Parts are expensive little side. If this things dont matter to you then you can buy. For all three free service i paid 2k for each. It might cross 3k for paid service.

Brother Ronin is nowhere in comparison with Honda Hness besides its little retro look. The ride feel is very very different but its lighter on your pocket while maintaining it. Hness will be like maintaining a car with a mileage of 30-35. Choice is urs!

Ronin is small engined bike but has innovative features that TVs is known for. But it's engine that makes Honda ganar ration ahead.all TVS gizmos will be boring after 2-3 years but engine makes you pulse synchronized for years of not ages.

Out of the world service cost by Honda I owned a CBR650R in the past the paid service was nearly ₹5.5K to ₹6K but charging ₹5K + for a simple 350CC air cooled engine damn that’s huge. Have you complained this to Honda? Have you gotten any solution?

Lucky to have stumbled upon your video on the service experience at Bigwing. This is how a company sounds the death knell for its refined and avidly sought after product. I feel that it is the Bigwing dealers who are out to make a fast buck and Honda is probably unaware of the negative vibes that such dealerships spread. As mentioned by you, I hope Dhingra Automobile looks into this inflated bill episode which must be happening with every other bike owner who comes for servicing. I encountered this some time back with my scooter(s) i.e. charging of inflated servicing bills and opted for the local service guy by avoiding the second and third free services altogether. All said and done, I may still go for Honda Highness but not opt for any free servicing. Thanks

I have just done 1st service from Bigwing that too for keeping runnin period intact mad initial service cost is also low . After that directly to 3rd service to avail warranty for lock set change , were l lost key and duplicate key made the ignition lock sticky. Since then buy buy to bigwig.
