Yes..warranty only covers mechanical parts not normal wear n tear parts. So that needs to be bought separately.

Silver AMC is for 1 year or certain KM (15k km). So it covers one major service and one minor (health check) with in one year duration. It this correct?

Buy silver AMC anytime before 3rd service.. AMC features are mostly related to general service check-ups and can be availed during next due service. If there is any issue then it might not come under service check-ups and need to be checked with the service centre.

P2P plans are discontinued now. AMC prices are different for every make n model. It costed me around 5k

P2P plan was discontinued by Tata last year. Please buy gold AMC to avail both silver amc & P2P benefits before 3rd service. Not sure about costing part.. plz contact Tata service centre for detailed info

Both can be bought from outside in better price. But if you are going for some accessory which requires wiring then I would suggest to buy it from company service centre only.

My harrier is having problem mentioned in subject & dealer is not honouring extended warranty obligation giving absurd reason of irregular service in corona period. It is not clear 1) why tata is expecting regular yearly service done in time during/after 2 years of corona. 2) How suspension becomes faulty if regular service is delayed. As per PM schedule, no preventive maintenance work is done on suspension during periodic service. It is observed that 1) delays in periodic service is a poor excuse for not honouring extended warranty obligation 2) Extended warranty is a trap for customers to compulsory force them to avail service at Tata authorised service centres only.

P2P was discontinued from September month. Now u can only buy gold/silver amc. If your car running is more than go for gold else take silver amc. Also, u can only buy it once.. for a duration of 1-3 years.

Thank you 😊 Separate P2P plan has been discontinued by Tata. RSA can be bought separately, some insurance plans offer it for free. Would suggest you to go for gold AMC as it would include both silver amc n P2P plan

Extended warranty is like a health insurance, if there would be any mechanical issue after 2 years then you will get benefit of extended warranty else it will be a waste. In my opinion, if you are planning to keep it for long & used extensively then buy it otherwise if your running is less and you maintain it well then you may ignore buying extended warranty

Extended warranty is like health insurance of your car. You may need it or you may not.. it depends. But if you are planning to keep your car for longer then I would suggest you to buy extended warranty. Also you can think of buying silver AMC before 3rd service because every car would require general service check-ups so it would be wise
