At this point- it'd be weird if they didn't. It's tradition. Major overhaul/update, add a new batch of microtransactions, everything is chaotic or dysfunctional, and the inevitable hotfix that screws things up worse to fix something else. Someone finds a weird workaround, the community adopts it, and Bethesda hides until the complaints die down. Just like Todd intended.

I feel like the male Sole Survivor with witnessing the Enclave, and seeing the flag and all the American phrases and whatnot would out of curiosity try to make contact with them before destroying them as he was in the US Army prior to the bombs falling. I feel he’d be a bit confused/conflicted in killing what he would think is American soldiers.

One thing I wish Bethesda could've added with this dlc, is that these new quests were activated when you reached a certain XP level. Like how Automatron starts at level 15. These new quests start immediately at level 1.

I'm currently trying a playthrough where I complete every quest I'm given before starting a new quest. (it's harder than you think). I was already level 4 trying to take on Gunners Plaza (and failing terribly!). This is going to add a whole bunch more high level quests to my 'to do' list. Sean's never getting saved in this one.

Bethesda had to postpone all of their Creation Club releases for fallout 4 indefinitely Because a few years ago a guy tried to sue because he thought the creation club should be included with the Season pass. The halloween pack was probably affected by this, and there’s still a lot of content for the Fallout 4 creation club that hasn’t been released

You actually can send them to their original homes. All you have to do is when you dismiss them and it asks where to want to send them, you actually back out instead of choosing anything and it’ll send them to their original homes.

So for the echoes of the past stuff you can do it out of order. My game gave me All the missions right away. I did pyro and then they jumped me on my next fast travel. Cool thing is they planed for it since they have orders to kill you saying because you have whatever gear you took. It also puts you on track to the starting location. Also you don’t have to do the side ones. If you do the main echo quest you will get all the items just no legendary versions

If you have a settlement without a Weapons store in it already add one and it will give you more 40mm frag ammo... I have tested this on a few settlements and the ones that aready had Weapons stores didn't have any updated ammo... I even deleted the store and added it back and it kept what it already had in inventory... Hope this helps everyone...

I downloaded it and instantly everything in my settlements or inventory that came from DLC (Legend of 88 Vault Suit, all my legendary Lever Actions, displays, Longfellow as my follower, all my 45-70 ammo, contraptions etc) was just gone. Greetings! Great video. However, I just wanted to inform you and your viewers/readers of a potential bug I encountered that really bummed me out. Here is a summary: I started "Echoes of the past" outside of Saugus Iron Works when 3 Enclave soldiers ambushed me and one of them was wearing the Hellfire Power Armor. After I dealt with them and completed "Crucible," I stored the armor in a safe at the castle. When I restarted the game and continued "Echoes of the past," I noticed that all Enclave soldiers who were wearing power armor wore only X-01 power armor. Even when I loaded a previous save file and went back to Enclave locations, only X-01 armor models were present. When I went back to the castle, I looked in the safe where I stored the Hellfire power armor pieces and noticed that they transformed into X-01 power armor pieces. I thought I had misplaced the Hellfire armor pieces when I could not find them. However, I noticed that when I loaded an older save and restarted "Echoes of the past," even the Enclave soldier that wore the Hellfire armor the first time I went through the quest was wearing X-01 armor. That is when I made the connection between my "missing" Hellfire armor and a potential bug that transformed all Enclave power armor suits into X-01 models. I hope somebody more sophisticated than I am can resolve this issue!

Just as context for anybody wondering why you can't join the Enclave. It's because literally all these quests are from the Creation Club, all of them. Bethesda had little no hand in making these, thus, no dialogue or named NPCs.

Went to this video after being ambushed by the Enclave. Randomly stumbled upon Pyro while taking on a Paladin Brandis mission. Took the armor then went to the bunker. After completing the mission, Enclave soldier suddenly SPAWNED inside the bunker. Crazy.

Outside of the Chinese grenade launcher, just about everything this update brought to the table is either uninteresting, or broken because Bethesda probably doesn't put in a day's worth of play-testing to see if it's good to ship out... Overall, I'd give this whole thing a D-minus, for being an update that added problems to the game for vanilla & mod users alike, and not doing anything spectacular after - what - a _year-long_ period of no new content? Although I like to play Fallout 4, this game just barely surpasses being mediocre at best, and falling below that line with being a minor disappointment. If the studio could put as much attention & interest back into 4 that they have for 76 right now, we'd have a much better game.

I know a similar mod for Skyrim which makes Anniversary Edition content compatible with downgraded game version to Special Edition. Fallout: London devs already said that they will release for pre-next-gen update if needed, meaning that in case of F4SE not getting updated, they will release what they have now. But people will update F4SE, because plenty of mods need it, unless the community just decides to rollback.

Unfortunately if you download the update but use the f4se your won’t be able to play the game with mods through your mod manager, will tell you to wait for the next script extender update

A whole bunch of mods stopped working in general, console or PC. Bethesda was so foresighted as to not say anything to the modding community that something of this scale was coming and now there is much rejoicing /s One of the most massive and most eagerly awaited FO4 mods ever which was inches away from completion now got postponed indefinitely.

@@TheHulksMistress Mods make a game better. It doesnt mean the game was bad before. Right now, Im playing Fallout 4 Survival. Im flying around Wasteland with a personal Vertibird, which also has landing spots at all my settlements. Immersive traveling? Yes please. The damage mods I have set up make it similar to Tarkov, instead bullet sponge galore. The guns/scope I use are way less clunky than vanilla. I have a shoulder mounted M2, because I can. The survival needs are adjusted to make sense. I have way more hotkeys and QoL things, vs having to open my PipBoy every 20 seconds. I have 7000 more items to build with in Settlements. And 300+ hours of entirely new quest content. Mods make everything about Bethesda games better, and the only people that disagree are people who have yet to mod a Bethesda game. Its not the game needs it, its the amount of things you can do to personalize your game. Hell, even just downloading a more detailed map is worth it.

Skyrim's last big update. This big update. All the mods broken because of these two updates. The entirety of Starfield. F76 I loved Skyrim. I loved 3, NV, and 4. But Im gonna be honest. I got very very little patience left for Bethesda and Todd. Whatever game they release next has got an extremely high bar to clear for me to even consider buying it.

If you have Smiling Larry he has the Nail gun plus ammo for it... He also has the Chinese Frag weapon in his inventory... At least on mine he does...

Anyone on Xbox having issues downloading mods and creations after this update? First all my downloaded mods got deleted and my favorites and library tabs were wiped. Then when downloading mods i usually have to do it twice cause it fails the first try. Then certain mods will kick me out of the mod menu if i even click on them.

I don’t know if it’s a glitch or I’m just stupid but for the makeshift weapons pack I can’t find any of the required ammo for the new guns nor can I craft it also I don’t have access to the nail gun I don’t know if these problems have anything to do with Suggs being dead in my game after I finished the Monsignor plaza bit of the quest i immediately fast traveled back to Suggs store and he was already dead when I got there maybe the problem starts there or I’m just stupid/Bethesda bugs

yea. A Renasaince. I dont see Gutting the NCR, retconning New Vegas into being a dead City, or the overall Vandalization of the West Coast Lore much of a Renasaince. I just wish Bethesda would hand off the license and leave the West Coast lore alone. They are literally making it look like they dont want to show progress, just a stagnant wasteland with people constanly shooting at each other.

I just made a new save on Xbox series x that I made to make a mix of new vegas and fallout four and these mods fit really well....and with the Halloween mod I made a tiny ritual room in sanctuary
