I really wish that Mojang would have a block vote instead of a mob vote for us to choose a cool block or block concept from the latest Minecraft celebration map and add it to the vanilla game. From being able to place Carpet on Stairs, the Copper Dolphin and other statues, to Leads that attach on both ends, to some of the many cool decorative blocks that were specifically created for these maps, there is so much content that Minecraft builders would love to get their hands on.

There would be almost NO point in the block vote. There would be NO reason not to add all 3. In the case of mobs it's difficult to add all 3 because they need functionality, uniqueness, compatibility, cuteness and bug fixes etc. But in the case of blocks it would be just the art they show in the vote. UNLESS its a block FAMILY vote. Like grimstone or tuff family.

I think the history timeline on the official website, looking back at the past 15 years of Minecraft, can be used as a pretty good prediction tool for what each character creator item is going to be based off of. So my guess with '15 is going to be something Minecraft Story Mode related, as that is the only topic in that tab I could see them base a distinctly Minecraft referencing cosmetic off of. Plus there is also the promotional render at the top of that page already showing off 8 of the 15 cosmetics. Based on those, '17 is likely going to be colorful mini sheep arms/sleeves (marketplace creators do not seem to know the difference between arms and gloves, so it's up in the air which it's going to be with arms having a chance to be allow application to only one of the arms rather than both), '19 is basically bound to be bees for boots and for '22 we are more than likely getting an allay cap. There are also a pair of parrot slippers and a trader llama hat, but the releases of those two features are conflicting with other dates, as parrots were introduced in the World of Color update, which the vibrantly colored sheep seem far more fitting for, while Village and Pillage, introducing wandering traders, overlaps years with Buzzy Bees, but for llamas themselves '16 is the year they got introduced with the Exploration update, so that might be the reference instead. Also, can we just talk about how awesome the concept art biomes look on the new merch items, most of which just aren't in the game actually? Like they give us a very fancy take on a crystal cave and a scarce variant of the mangrove swamp (with fireflies!) to buy as merchandise but don't actually have it in the game the stuff is meant to promote.
