@@ryanweaver5065 It seems like time in quantum realm is not that straightforward. For example, it was never discussed how long Janet was in the quantum realm, and she definitely was there longer than couple of days. It probably was comparable to the time she was there from macro world's viewpoint, because they didn't really seem to notice the difference. The first movie established that quantum realm is a place where time and space do not matter. With space that really seems true, as it doesn't seem to matter where you enter it, Hank for example was able to find Janet. But with time it seems more like there could be so kind of jump points (for example created when the tunnel is used), and Scott accidentally fell into one that lead to the point in time the mouse activated the tunnel in Endgames.

One subtle thing that I loved- the movie is called Ant-Man and The Wasp. Scott and Hope, sure, but also Hank and Janet. It's not a coincidence that the climax splits them up into two Ant-Man + Wasp pairs.

I realized at some point that it also applies to the other two pairs. Hope has clearly spent some time being trained by Hank, and the two are like a dynamic duo of criminals during the first part of the film. And Scott’s connection to Janet is the reason the entire movie even happens in the first place.

One thing I really liked about Ant Man and the Wasp is that it's got one of the most simple, yet perfectly paced and streamlined plots of the MCU movies. Plus we got to see Hope being even more of a badass hero now that she suited up as Wasp, than in the first one. There's no complicated story that sets up why a villain is fighting the hero. Ava wasn't really that much of a villain in the typical sense. Yes, she was mad that Hank had her father discredited and fired, but really her main motivations are to heal her chronic pain and prolong her life.

One of my favorite parts of this film is how well-characterized Ghost is. She's not doing what she does for power or glory or money or revenge, she's doing it because if she doesn't, she will literally die in the most painful way possible. She's not diabolical, she's just desperate, and that makes me love her all the more. Plus she's like, the most beautiful? So points.

Yes! I just loved her development. She starts out as a child who became the victim of an unfortunate accident that killed her parents and left her with a terrible power that she couldn't control and caused her great pain. She was willing to do whatever for someone to cure her or kill her. She even trained to be an assassin and a killer in hopes that they would fulfill their promise to end her suffering, which they didn't. Everyone that said they would help her didn't so when Foster was holding back on not wanting to kill Janet, she began to panic and become more desperate. But you saw the good in her even in these desperate times when she agreed with Foster that kidnapping Cassie to blackmail Scott was too far. Everyone she trusted to help her didn't so you can understand how desperate she was being only days away from being torn apart cell by cell. Then when Janet returns and gifts her QR energy, she begins crying as someone was finally able to help her. We see throughout the movie that she's not proud of the killing she's done but is just being forced to do them through desperation. And now that she's safe from dying for the meantime, she's willing to face her consequences. In the end, she finally finds people that can truly help her and finds her place. Eva is definitely one of the best developed villains we've seen from Marvel. Can't wait to see her in Infinity War (hopefully). I also just love her powers, how she uses them, and how they're portrayed on screen. I love seeing her "glitch" with powers causing her body to separate and appear in multiple places as she's making decisions or is stressed, tired, or suffering from a lot of emotions.

I've seen a lot of comments about people appreciating the simplicity of the stories, the fact that there isn't so much darkness, that it's a simpler story, and I love that, too. One thing I can add that I really liked about this film is the fact that there are no traditional "bad guys". The two antagonists' motives aren't truly nefarious. Burch is just out to make a buck with secret tech and Ghost is about self-preservation. Thanks to Foster, she only borders on Machiavellian methods. Plus, Goggins is so awesome that he makes Burch likeable. This movie was cast so well on almost all levels.

Also, the stakes aren't traditionally "high," like in most superhero movies (ie. they aren't saving the world). Really enjoyed this film in the cinema when it came out. I personally think it's better than the first but that might be down to my own cinema experience. I enjoy how quickly this film jumps into the 'heroing' because it's not an origin story and its fun to watch established relationships grow. Everything feels familiar but remains new. Great movie and great video. Please can you finish the Hunger Games series and maybe do an EGA Coraline xx

My favourite part of this movie? It ties in perfectly with both Agents of Shield and Agent Carter. Tobias Ford in season 1 of Shield gets caught in an explosion that traps him between dimension, leaving him limited control over his intangibility and invisibility. Season 2 of Agent Carter has Doctor Jason Wilkes is exposed to matter from another dimension and again becomes intangible and invisible. The Season 4 of Shield has even more of ghosts, this time created using a book of magic, combined with more dimension-tech. I mean really, Doctor Foster should have enlisted Fitz-Simmons, they already solved this problem.

AVENGERS 4 SPOILERS/////// One of the most annoying things is that they're releasing a trailer for Far From Home before Avengers 4 is even out. I understand that planning and casting and shooting for future movies has to happen ahead of time so it's hard for that stuff to not be seen, but at least that will probably only be seen by the people really following the MCU who probably knew the snap wasn't permanent anyway. But a trailer for the next Spider-Man movie? Everyone who even casually watches these films is gonna see that. It really disappoints me that they couldn't pretend that the snap was permanent even for the casual fans

Ferris Bueller: Yeah, a video on that would be good. The Greatest Showman: No.Turning a bad person into a good person for the sake of a musical is a bad idea. If you don't want a "based on a true story" movie/musical to have a bad person as the main character, then either, A) Don't make it based on a true story. Make a new character. B) Just don't make the movie. C) Focus on a better person. I know I'm being negative in a comment section on a positivity-based channel's video, but I had to bring this up.

Ok, I know a ton of people are already talking about this, but dang it I wanna to! As a person whose parents divorced when she was only four, I'm so happy to finally see divorced families not being shown in the media as being at one another's throats, or Scott disliking his ex-wife's new partner or trying to get the two back together again because none of those are truly showing of what divorced relationships are truly like. It always made me mad when a movie had the parents be divorced and pull something with them because it gives kids false hope that one day, maybe their parents will be like that, or at least it got me and my brother's hopes up. It hurts to see that over and over again, but this movie doesn't do that. He and his ex-wife are on good terms and are finding new partners, and the movie doesn't linger on "Oh poor Scott, his wife left him and now his heart is broken!" No, the two are just divorced because it didn't work out. There was no betrail of trust, or cheating, or horrible people, they just didn't end up staying together, and that's ok. Hollywood just really needs to finally understand that not everything has to be played for drama, sometimes people just don't work out and that is all. This has been my long-winded TED talk, thank you.
