Demon slayer is one of the greatest if not th best anime in the world right now. The people who say it's overrated are stupid. It's perfect. People say the plot is bad cause it's simple but guess what. The plot of one piece, dragon ball and naruto is pretty simple in its essence. Dragon ball is about an alien who loves fighting, naruto is about a boy striving to become hokage and one piece is about a boy trying to become the leader of all pirates. A simple plot doesn't mean the anime is bad. Almost all of the greatest Anime, attack on titan excluded( complicated as hell and is a masterpiece). have a fairly simple plot. And the final fight In episode 10 is easily the best fight in anime history, without any competition. And honestly inosuke is one of the most likeable characters I've seen in fiction.

In the Magen train arc, I think it deserved one more win in ep 4 in the scene when Tanjiro finally woke up and then we cut to a new scene where the tuberculosis kid witnessed the dream world get destroyed, and yet Tanjiro’s spirit still saved him. It was such a beautiful scene. Either way though, amazing video and reactions to an amazing anime

I know alot of people say that they don't like that characters have one trait but the only other character that I can actually think of that only has one trait is Muichiro, and there is back story behind it that explains why. I just dislike any time that Zenitsu is in a scene and awake.

Maybe it’s just me, but I also really loved how Tengen’s wives were kind of reflections of our three protagonists. Makio is a bit rough and aggressive like Inosuke. Suma is emotional and constantly freaking out or overreacting like Zenitsu. Hinatsuru is kind and mature like Tanjiro. I just really liked the parallels.

That's funny but the true beauty of anime is that it is overtly NOT live action. The colors, the sharpness of the imagery even during the quickest-pace action, the contrast of the visuals and fluidity and precision of the execution....action films simply cannot reach that level. Zack Snyder pulls it off sometimes because he indulges in slow-motion and ramping up and down of speed to capture iconic imagery.....but even Snyder at his best isn't on the level of an exceptional anime battle. Live action just can't do it justice so hopefully DS never looks indistinguishable from live action!

I cried when Rengoku died in the movie, and then watching everyone live through the aftermath made me cry again. I have never loved a character so much and so quickly the way I just loved Rengoku. I am still hurt but I am so excited for the story telling that will unfold moving forward in this anime.

I actually had to PAUSE the movie RIGHT BEFORE HE GAVE HIS LAST WORDS TO TANJIRO because I was watching it on the way to track practice. Therefore, crying on the bus, cause he's dying. And then my siblings had baseball practice in the same town I had track practice, so I watched the rest while I did my geometry homework (cried again). And THEN started crying again watching the first episode of entertainment district arc because of the bits of closure it had at the beginning

Honestly Tengen Uzui is my favorite hashira. I really like how honest he is about himself and where he stands as a hashira and how much respect he has for the other stronger hashira. Like he knows he's not the best hashira by how he is constantly trying to figure out what Rengoku would do. But that is what I like about him, he knows everything he can do and even when faced with an opponent stronger than him he still does everything he can to win. Prime example (57:05), he let's himself get hit by the poisoned kunai just so he could get close enough for a chance to decapitate gyutaro. But I also love the outside flashy personality he has even though he's so calm and collected. Anyway that was a way longer comment than it should have been but thanks for reading.

I personally think you should give two more wins. One for the moment after Tengen dodges Tanjiro’s headbutt. The way Kanao catches one of the young girls in the scene. Immediately grabbing the girl, shielding her head and a quick role on ground to ensure she’s not hurt. Compared to Tanjiro falling flat on his stomach with the other girl landing on the box. It shows the difference in rank between the two, even if they’re one rank apart. Tanjiro still has a good amount of training to reach Kanao’s level. It’s small but I love it. The second, Kanao’s development in ep 1. She’s finally starting to listen to her heart and thinking for herself.

Absolutely! They are NOT holding back...it seems like they just write a blank check every step of the way. Truly some of the greatest animation I've ever seen period, whether we are talking film or show. I'm pretty sure Ufotable is a mostly movie-based animation house. So doing Demon Slayer...it is clear they are trying to avoid the drawbacks of spreading themselves thin over 25 episode seasons. They did what they did with the first season, then did a movie for the next arc...which of course became the biggest Japanese film of all time. Turning it into an arc let them devote a TON of time and resources into an 11 episode arc. Instead of doing another 20-25 episode season. Going one arc at a time for a manga that is honestly not a very long running one is a smart move. I am sure we will get a lot of "mini-seasons" dedicated to arcs, and probably 2 more movies before it is all said and done. I would almost guarantee that the series finale is going to be a theatrical film and not just another batch of episodes.

The most interesting thing for me about Dabi/Ume is that when she died, her soul form was her living body while her brother was his demon body. Each of them saw who they 'truely' were differently and seeing that causes the brother to want to go into the abyss alone (since she's not like him). But she sees the humanity in his demonic form and accepts that they both did the horrible things they did to be together. I like how DS makes you pity its villains but not so far as to want to see them redeemed.

I feel like it could also be implied that there is a potential second chance for those who became demons, it feels that way to me at least with the pleasant green mixed into the bleeding specks of light released by them as they fully disintegrated. Gyutaro arguably would be the most deserving of a second go with himself and his sister, if he wouldn't have been born into a district where value was measured in beauty, he could have potentially grown into a great man. He wanted nothing but the best for himself and his sister, and yes the only chance he got for that WAS kinda violent, it was the only chance he got, and being hated was something that was just every day life for him.

Who cares about the animation, what makes me really LOVE Demon Slayer is how it manages to convey emotions so much well, hype, sadness, grief, hope, happiness, rage, determination, it makes me cry . Every sentimental scene is a piece of art, forget the simple plot, that's not the point of the show, the emotional side is where it excels, (and animation obviuosly). Clearly it has defects It's not an absolute masterpiece, but, come on, nothing is perfect. I don't care about some forcing of the plot (which don't even seem so far-fetched to me), DS is anchored in my heart, and it truly merits that place.

I was literally just rewatching your Demon Slayer Wins videos when this dropped. I'm a new fan of the channel and just got aroumd to watching the second season. I loved everything about it but I took a particularly fascination with the Elder Brother Demons voice acting. It was so creepy and off and how he ends every sentence with that verbal tic thing. I loooooooooved it. When they overlapped the female demon with his and she started speaking with his mannerisms. Idk why, but that was the stand out thing to me this season. I heard him in the dubbed too and it wasn't giving.

I like to think that part of Rengoku's father being mad at Tanjiro is that he knows sun breathing, yet he didn't do anything. Its shown he still does partly care for his son.

Demon Slayer earns the best animation of all time for now. Theres simply no Anime currently out that looks as stunning as this. The Win Video being as long as it is is a great thing and absolutly deserved.

I agree massively BUT I'd like to highlight Violet Evergarden and Jobless Reincarnation as being in the same ballpark of #1 for me, they're all stunningly beautiful in their own ways

@@AnimeWins this is true, both of these have different qualitys, where demon slayer focuses on longer fights and fight scenes with lots of raw emotion mushoku goes for quick and witty fights with more focus on spells and large scale events and places and violet with its beautiful scenerys and very acurate animation down to almost reality. All in this high standard. Some Scenes from Demon Slayer are just so absolutly cracked where you feel 1 frame was worked on for one hour. It is not always like that but definitly very consistent. This for me makes it just a tad better. Mushoku and Violet are about 95% as good as this when it comes to animation. Its just a fingersqueeze better.

at around the 50 minute mark you said you liked the cool ways Hashira use their weapons and if that's the case, then you're gonna love the design for one of the hashira's (no spoilers as to which) weapon in the next season. It is in my opinion one of the coolest weapon designs I've seen in a while.

You definitely need to give a win to that crazy, orchestral electric on edge soundtrack!! It pulled the whole thing together and definitely should’ve been given notice!! A second one is tengens musical score technique in which he turns a person’s attacks into a musical score making it readable and recognizable, that’s pretty damn cool!!

This show is so good that when certain scenes popped up I was feeling the same emotions as when I first watched it. Amazed at the visuals, laughing at the comedy, tears of both joy and sorrow...all of it. What a great show

bruuh, i love how you do all these, but seriously i do not get how people think that character that daki saw was tanijrous dad, his dad even looks completely different from him, his hair is different, and the scar is as well, the voice actor is different too, how tf do people keep thinking this? even when i first watched the series at season 1 i never thought it was the dad in that first flashback.
