Shoutout to Yu Ishigami for being one of the first fictional characters to make me cry when I didn’t even shed a tear for Mufasa or Bambi’s mom. I mean I was having a laugh because he reminded me of myself when I decided to try and make friends by hanging out with “normie” kids and then being completely lost when it came to understanding the slang or the hype yet somehow enjoying myself anyway but then those last few episodes just hit me in the gut. I would really recommend the manga to anyone whose interested because things only get better and more intense from here. Also I have to commend the mangaka for writing some of the most realistic teenagers and highschool experiences I’ve ever seen in both anime and western media

For me it was Kaguya the one i emphatized with the most. I really haven't been fond of Rom comedies for a long time, but Kaguya-Sama Love is War claimed my heart from the very beginning. It's outstandingly masterfully crafted paced, the hilarious and nonsensical moments that make even the most mundane acts become over-the-top, the deep and realistic psychology of each one of the main characters as well as always trying its best to make the repetitive structures work to feel fresh and genuine every time, and of course the drama, the antics and all the character introductions as well as the story are so well made by Aka Akasaka. Truly a genius of the genre. Last but not least the amazing VA and the animation are neat and frigging awesome. This anime is truly underrated for what it offers. Most of the shonen don't offer half of what this manga/anime series offers. For those who didn't read the whole manga: PREPARE YOURSELVES WITH TISSUES BECAUSE THINGS ARE GETTING EVEN BETTER ON THE DRAMA SIDE AND ON THE COMEDY ASWELL

Not gonna lie, the Ishigami background past really hit me hard. The amount of despair he must have felt, his friends leaving him, his parents not supporting him and not even trying to understand his action. It's shit like this that make you lose hope in humanity. But it's people like Shirogane that end up restoring it. Definitely one of my favorites moments in anime, all categories included.

He also wanted to save her from the boy since he said that he has some "weird videos of her" and would make it online. I totally agree with you but when I put myself in that situation it feels I'd do the same. Handle it without anyone's help.

"Smithee A. Hayasaca" should have been an additional win. It references Alan Smithee, a name inserted for many years as director on film credits where the actual director didn't want to be associated with the final release version. So the fake student uses the fake director name. This made me laugh as hard as anything this season.

The ED changes slightly as the series progresses: Iino initially is facing away and doesn't turn around to face Kaguya like the others do, but after she joins the student council the ED changes to her looking at Kaguya like everyone else. Ishigami doesn't smile in the ED when he looks at Kaguya, but does after the episodes where he lets himself feel happy again.

I looked it up, and I was misremembering Iino's changes. She starts turning around after she's introduced, but is frowning like Ishigami until her misconceptions about the student council members are cleared up. After that, she trusts Kaguya so she starts smiling in the ED.

This season made me realize how much I've been missing through high school, and any grade at that matter. I'm homeschooled and I realized how i would like to be in public school, I don't care about any type of anime fantasy people have, I just wanna be able to socialize, have friends, experience having a crush for the first time. I can't even enjoy shows or games because of how much "amazing" free time i have. I want to take my time and savor games and snows that make me happy. But if I have so much free time that I can finish videogames in a day or two, or finish 5 season long anime in 5 days because of that, I don't want it. You might think I have a chance at college to socialize. But I'd get in at 16, that means two years of no in person classes. I can't even dream about jobs like pro athletes because I can't join clubs. That has a 0% chance of coming true, instead I have to become a doctor, or a dentist, or an engineer. I only have one decent parent too, better than most yeah, but having the other parent also shut down any false hopes you may have hurts man. I wouldn't even mind if I was the kid getting bullied at public school, at least people would know I exist. I always hate those people who never talk to people at their school because they're "nervous". When I don't even have the option of talking to them. I can't make outside friends either, because homeschooled kids don't need phones for any reason. I already am missing out on high school. The time where you make friends that stick with you for at the very least a few years. I'll never get to experience high school properly, but hey, at least I get good grades. If you're in high school but are lucky enough to be in a public school, try and make friends. Don't be nervous. I'm not nervous when it comes to socializing. But I don't even get the chance to socialize. Be happy with your life, ill try and be happy with mine. But I'm already missing the biggest 4 years of my life.

What I especially liked through Episode 10 through Episode 11 is that none of the Cheerleader Squad have their eyes. Then Episode 11 hits, and then you realize that that's how Ishigami sees _everyone_ who isn't on the student council. That is, he believes that everyone else hates him unconditionally because he did the right thing and stood up for someone, explanation or no. And then he goes for the run. He refutes his shitty backstory, and he goes for it. And he whiffs. He whiffs, and he was *_so damn close_* that it hurts. And Shirogane, the person you'd expect to be the first to jump in, holds everyone else back. Why? Because the Cheerleader Squad comes in as a save. Throughout that entire scene, I was hoping and I was praying that he would look up, and he would see their eyes, because then he would see them as *_people_* and not part of the mindless masses. And he did. And I cried about it. 10/10, deserves all the wins.
