i'm surprised you didn't win the kiss at the end honestly. But i don't care. I adored this, and it made me smile stupidly the whole time, both because FINALLY THIS VIDEO EXISTS but also just reliving this movie! Again, thank you so much for this, man! Also, unfortunately got no idea about a fourth season. I've been doing research but can't find anything official yet.

There is definitely more than enough material in the manga to adapt, so a fourth season would make sense, but i have not seen any official announcement for a season 4.

I higjly doubt they wouldnt make a 4th season given how successful it is in its manga and Blu-Ray DVD sales (the latter being a very reliable indicator of whether or not a series gets continued)

The comment about the quack doctor is a call back to a time when Kaguya went to the doctor because she had some concerns about her heart fluttering and the doctor told her she was just in love. She, being Kaguya, decided the doctor was just crazy.

Well.. she passed out and had to be driven to the hospital in an ambulance, so it was a bit more than mere concern over flutters.

Talking about that doctor, the speech about how he became a dad at 17 is also somewhat important as his own son did the same and he wished that his grandson doesn't join them ... And then we learned that the guy that got into a couple at the start of the anime due to Miyuki (the one Maki was in love with) IS his grandson and we see at 28:36 that the dude WILL KEEP HIS FAMILY TRADITION ALIVE.

That kiss at the end ended up being one of the funniest theater moments of my life. Not because of the kiss itself, but because of one guy in the back. They're leaning into the kiss, the theater is silent, then, when they kiss, some guy in the back loudly proclaims "thats how its done".

With everything that happened at that Christmas party I’d almost forgotten how beautiful well written this whole arc was. I think it takes real skill to take something that could have been really frustrating/irritating for the reader/watcher and to turn it into something really impactful, great, and human.

Easily the greatest rom-com Arc to ever be written. Building your characters to such peak of romance to then completely break them to piece's and put back together so they can soar even higher... Thank you Aka for writing the greatest character arc in rom-com, I hope future authors learn from it and try to reach even higher peaks!

This arc in the manga quite literally changed my life. I've always loved stories, and they've definitely hit me hard before, but the gift exchange between Shinomiya and Shirogane was so impactful to me and was at a perfect time in my life to help me get through some of my own self confidence problems. And this Movie blew me out of the water as an adaptation. I seriously can't thank the people who worked on it enough for it. And thank you for giving it a spotlight here and giving me a chance to relive it through fresh eyes

I really liked the detail of "half moon", symbolising them not showing all of themselves to one another. I recently finished 3 seasons, this movie and entire manga and honestly, it's been a long time since i laughed soo much after reading / watching a manga/ an anime. Definitely one of the greatest series ever. Can't wait for another season.

I felt so bad for president for a hot minute during this movie, but I'm glad they decided to be honest with each other and reach a genuinely lovely conclusion. I can't wait for next season to see what they do with Ishigami and Iino

I love how we finally see, that Kaguya really used to react like Shirogane feared every time. I mean, we knew she was cold, but it was really hard to imagine she actually used to react that way.

23:50 Dio/Papa Shirogane on their first meeting immediately figured out that Kaguya likes Miyuki and has started to tease her about their relationship and asks how far they've gotten. Now his mere appearance is kinda triggering to her and causes her to feel super uncomfortable - it's hilarious. 😆

The first episode made me stop so many times from the heart stopping "About 40 seconds", the snack run, and bring another magazine next week. It's full of laughs but really just the whole first episode about Adult Kissing almost killed me.

The movie ended right at chapter 151 and parts of 160 in the flashback. There is still 3 more anime seasons for them to cover the manga ending at chapter 281. Season 4 is mostly going to be about Iino and Ishigami and we get best girl Hayasaka arc.

Maybe this movie will become the first one to dethrone Suzumiya Haruhi movie from the spot of "my anime christmas movie". Really enjoyed reliving it with your comments. Couldn't watch much of your videos lately as I'm not really into battle shonen stuff, so didn't watch any of MHA / Demon Slayer / Black Clover etc (well except seasons 1, but then I gave up) and I'm not up to date with current season so I'm waiting to be able to watch your Mushoku Tensei and Zom100 videos later. Such a great movie and series, So many fantastic moments to win too, I also hope they announce a 4th season as I do want to see the manga adapted to the last chapter. I'm going to guess that season 4 will focus again on Ishigami and his story, and of course Kaguya's and Miyuki's relationship going forward.

The peak arc of Kaguya-sama, and it was handled so beautifully. The crazy thing is there's still enough manga left for another 2-3 seasons, but sadly, while it's still very good, it never quite reaches these highs ever again.

I will say having read the manga. I hope they end it here. The rest of the manga is 'okay' but it never reaches the height of this portion again. In my view, better to end on a high note than to just sputter around for another two seasons.
