How'd you not win the fact that the romantic sub-plot didn't try to overtake the movie or wasn't focused on too much? So many films try to 'balance' romance and action but fail miserably! I think it was a nice change to not see 'boy and girl MUST be together just cuz'

This was literally just that though, boy and girl must together just cause. There is almost no story behind it, no reasoning. I mean Thomas only really remembers here for like 2 days before they get out of the maze and split, to run trough the desert, which actually gives almost no opertunity to bond, he just bonds with brenda. To then get betrayed. Where is the opertunity to fall in love. Theresa clearly remembers everything, at least loving thomas. But thomas literally doesn't. So there was no point to that relationship when multiple different relationships where way more believable and logical.

So, I don’t think I’m the only one to notice but even so, during the scene where they’re about to jump out of the window, you’re able to see the discolored veins on Newt’s neck showing that he’s close to becoming a crank and while I love how detailed they are with that, it’s just so heartbreaking noticing that. ;-;

idk if i can it's the best avengers but it's certainly an amazing movie... some characters are just there for throwing around punches but the others really stand out... i wanted there to be more unity amongst all the characters rather than them being separated from each other... otherwise it is a really action packed movie with good humour and emotion

I loved the books, as well as the movies (so much so that I actually bought the trilogy, regardless of how many mistakes and sins there were). Issue for me is, Thomas could have ended this entire thing so many times. SO MANY TIMES. Yeah, Wicked was basically torturing kids to get the halfassed cure, but as many have said, Thomas should have had enough brain power to realize that Brenda was cured by his blood. The fact that he couldnt put that together and Teresa couldn't just outright TELL HIM was absolutely ridiculous. They could have saved so many from dying by just ending it there. Frustrating as hell, but all in all, it was still a pretty fun story to follow; even if it was a difficult one to follow. Also, Newt, Gally and Minho were by far my favorite characters. Minho just for being pure badass.

once you realise in the books that WCKD were the ones who actually created the flare and released it into the world because of a population problem, you start to see the films in a whole new light. the main reason WCKD are trying to find a cure so diligently is because they were the cause of this, of everything. they caused the apocalypse. but they're doing everything to fix it, so the words of Ava from the first movie of "WCKD is good" is what she truly believes. she is leading the good because of the bad they originally caused, Thomas and the other kids just happen to be their way of doing so.it's also why she keeps Theresa in the dark about the original cause, it would make her completely turn against WCKD. It isn't right, but what else could be done in this situation? Also read the book before i saw the film, Newt was my crush and favourite character. Needless to say i was sobbing in the cinema ;.;

I personally have sooo many mized feelings about this movie, whilst i couldn't wait and enjoyed it soo much in the cinema with TBS's performance and the action sequences , thinking back to the book i can't help but be a little dissapointed, i know they couldn't fit everything into one movie but i really wanted more of the book in it. Now this is going to be a long comment but if you're a true TMR fan you'll want to read this anyway😉 I'm so glad that you took the time to talk about this movie and honor it. Newt is the best person I know and he is just so beautiful inside and out. He is so kind, loving, caring and loyal that it breaks my heart.💔 And Newt deserved better. I have to say how much it kills me that Newt could have been saved so easily. It took exactly 30 seconds for Brenda to show up after Newt got stabbed. 30 seconds just 30! But anyways I have only seen the movies but I would LOVE to read the books but I know that I wouldn't SURVIVE page 250. Cause in the movie Newt stabbed himself which made me love and honor him even more but in the book Thomas pulls the trigger on Newt and then he dies. And that would be toooooo much for me to handle. God, I just love Newt so much!!!! ❤️ OH AND! Don't even get me started on THOMAS BRODIE SANGSTER!!! He is such an amazing actor and he has done so many great movies and series that it amazes me. His performance in this film was literally the best thing about it. I could feel everything with him. I dream about being an actress myself and Thomas is my role model. I would be so proud of myself if I could be nearly as perfect as he is. Of course I love Dylan O'Brian as well! ❤️ His character "Stiles" was the best thing about Teen Wolf and these movies wouldn't have been the same without him. He is so cute and talented! @@wurzel9671 I suppose... But in my mind, it's more of a 'rude awakening' for him once Teresa says he could have saved him. He goes to her side to save people who had his experience. It was also a extremely emotional scene for Thomas and Newt alike. Newt wants Thomas to kill him to save Thomas (And, presumably, the pain), but Thomas is still holding onto his 'save everyone' idea, and he can't bring himself to kill someone who he tried to save moments ago.

I loved the ending when you praised Wes Ball and all of the actors and characters. I remember so many people (when this movie first came out) kept saying how bad it was with little to no respect towards how hard the actors and crew all worked, and with little respect as to why Wes Ball actually changed things around from the book. But now people really seem to understand and praise the movie, actors and crew a lot more and that really makes me happy. I knew that the last movie wouldn’t follow the book, and I am actually glad that they didn’t. It wouldn’t have as much of an emotional impact as this movie did. They really made up for the first two movies in my opinion, and while the movie was long, I still enjoyed it nonetheless. So thanks Wes Ball, the cast and crew for an amazing ending to an amazing series and thanks for 5 amazing years of TMR!! ❤️ PS- LOVE that you gave a Gold Star to Thomas Brodie-Sangster. He is an amazing actor whose work seems to go unnoticed by many people, so to see people like you praising his work really means the world to me.

All this death caused by the conflict with Wicked and he didn't think of sacrificing himself(which apparently wasn't even necessary) to save the rest of his friends and possdibly the thousands of other teens that were basically tortured. I don't blame him exactly considering how shady the organisaton was but that would be ultimately the best solution. Which he did of course but when it was too late.

This movie series would’ve been so much more if they decided to use the book cranks. People who will kill but have lost themselves. Such as the two people fighting over a dead rat, or the guy singing at the top of his lungs in the Kill Order book. Zombie cranks just never grew onto me.

I was so mad when I watched Scorch Trials for the first time and suddenly zombies everywhere in the dark! tbhI liked the 'Noses took my roses took my noses' addition in the third movie. It's like they knew we hated hello noses was gone and added it for a nice touch. Think this movie (mostly for the inclusion of that line) had the cranks closer to how they should have been, but ya know zombies are more cinematic and all that (eye roll)

Yes I am going to be a sterotype and say that Thomas Brodie Sangster is freaking amazing. I love him so much and his portray of Newt durring his turning into a crank was just amazing. The way he made it really come across that the humanity left inside of him was fighting so hard to keep from harming Thomas, its just amazing. I love him and the movies.

What a trilogy!! The books are great!! The movies are great on their own!! yeah they changed a lot from the source material... but really name a adaptation that doesn't!! It was a beautiful ending to an amazing trilogy!! The action was amazing, the acting was fairly on-point, soundtrack is brilliant, and for the curse of "the third of a trilogy is the worst" this one was pretty decent. I love Dylan O'Brian and have so much respect for him, for that even after his accident he came back and STILL did his own stunts!!

I absolutely adore this series (and I will never be over Newt. God, that scene makes me cry every time) and I hate the fact that so many people put it down because it's 'just another YA series'. It's so much more than that, at least to me. These films are beautifully designed, the sound design and music is incredible, the VFX are to die for and the cast... I can't even describe how much I love them. Thank you for making these videos! They really show how great these movies are, and give them the praise they deserve.
