Yup, it's a re-upload. A company named MUST_CS decided to give me a copyright strike over the use of "the melody found in Give Her My Budapest." Oddly that track wasn't even in the section they cited, it's a situation where I have no doubt I'd win in court, but you could say I'm not trying to add more stress to my life right now. Are they taking advantage of that? Yup. They gave me 7 days to remove the video or get a strike. So here it is re-edited to remove the section they cited and once again give this the ole college try. There will be a new video next week. Thanks for all your patience.

I've never been a big 3D guy. I can't even see the 3D effect properly with the Real 3D tech so I didn't care it was fading away. But ever since I watched Ant Man in 3D with a VR headset, I have honestly changed my mind. And no, movies don't need "whoa it's coming right at you!" sections to work great in 3D. Just a good film with correctly done 3D. It just enhanced the experience.
@hussein_bdn4 жыл бұрын
Phillip Skimerhorn right, like Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (only HP movie I've seen in 3D, so I don't know about the others). It makes the movie much more beautiful. If you've seen it and remember the close-up scene at Voldemort's wand as it starts cracking, it looks so good. The best scene of the movie in 3D, though, is after Voldemort's defeat, when his skin starts.. disintegrating? It's extremely satisfying to watch. Feels like the bits are all around the screen rather than on it.
@CandyApples4ever4 жыл бұрын
Phillip Skimerhorn I remember when the glasses was red and blue. I think the 3d effect was better back then. I remember things coming right out at me trying to grab me and crush me and it was awesome. The dark sunglasses don’t do anything for me. I literally can’t see anything pop out. I wore the red and blue glasses recently and they still hold up. It’s nice the vr headset has the exact same effect as the blue glasses. It’s quite fun. Cinema needs to step their glasses up.

Brad Bird absolutely nailed this movie. Brought the right kind of comedy into it with everything thing failing leaving them to rely on each other. Much like Iron Man 3. People of Tom Cruise stature (circa 5'7"/1,7 m) weren't particularly typecast as Hobbits and Munchkins in Hollywood and that goes all the way back. Both Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton were 5'5"/1,65 m, Humphrey Bogart and James Dean were 5'8"/1,73 m (Humphrey Bogart was in fact shorter than Ingrid Bergmann). And we have plenty of actors besides Tom Cruise, both older and younger, who are of similiar stature, who aren't limited to these roles. Dustin Hoffman (5'6"/1,67 m), James McAvoy (5'7"/1,7 m), Jack Black (5'7"/1,7 m), Al Pacino (5'7"/1,7 m), Daniel Radcliffe (5'5"/1, 65 m), Joe Pesci (5'4"/1, 63 m), Michael J. Can we just take a moment to appreciate how great the theme is in this movie. Unlike most entries in the series, which settle for the bigger grander version of the theme - especially McQuarrie's films, Ghost Protocol opts for something more dynamic. The intro alternates between quiet and loud showing how suspense is going to play a key part of the film. As much as I enjoy the series, only Ghost Protocol has recaptured the level of suspense felt during the iconic wire set piece.

Dear Mr. Cinemawins, I would like to start off by saying that I'm a fan of your work. I can't consider myself a "big fan" because I don't watch every single video you make, but that's mostly due to the fact that I would like to watch the movie before watching your video talking about all the great things in it. To get to the point, I was wondering if you would consider doing a "Everything Great About The Magnificent Seven" video. It was released in 2016, stars actors Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, and Ethan Hawke. It's an amazing film that is beautifully made, at least to me. It's a film that keeps you engrossed from start to finish, and you learn a lot of amazing details about the movie by watching the special features. For example, the decision of what actors played who, how they let the actors build and flesh out their own characters to make them more realistic, and even the story of the music used for the movie is beautiful. I could go on all day but I also want you discover the magic of the film for yourself. I hope you give the movie a look and if you do decide to make a video on it, then I'd love to see what you think makes this movie so great.

It’s a good movie, but I’d be scared to win, sin, or honest trailer that one because of the religious basis. Too many people would potentially flip out. Personally, I love the movie. I saw it in theaters when I was in high school, I owned the CD and played it constantly on my boom-box (yes, I’m old. I am aware of this fact 😉), and Ive been singing the River Lullaby to my babies since the day I was blessed enough by God to have them. My youngest, who is 3 now, will NOT go to sleep unless he’s heard that song and Once Upon a December from Anastasia. I actually didn’t know this was a brad bird film until the other day, and I just learned this was his first live action film too. Mission Impossible 4 did something a franchise is often unable to do, it reinvented and reinvigorated itself. It was a soft reboot of sorts but still a continuation, the reason this particular franchise is still going strong is because of this movie. Ghost Protocol gave older fans of the show and the movies preceding 4 everything they wanted and they loved it, while at the same time introducing a whole new and younger audience to the franchise without much of a learning curve from the past three movies. Brad Bird, and Abrams truly found a way to appease the older generation of Mission Impossible fans and give a warm and inviting hug to a younger generation of moviegoers. Also, I really like that you point out how Tom Cruise is a massive help in the filmmaking process, I love Tom Cruise as an actor, I think he’s an extremely good actor and puts his heart and soul into every one of his roles, but I also noticed that the films like Risky Business, Cocktail and some of his earlier ones aren’t as good as the films where he’s had lots of creative control being the executive producer and as you mentioned “the B director”. Which is also why I think the Mission Impossible franchise had a resurgence and why I think the new Top Gun movie is either going to be better or on par with the first, because Tom Cruise as an actor but more importantly, as a filmmaker seems to really care and want a good finished product for the audience.

Just going to try again :) Please do The Last Samurai :) on another note: your video's are a very bright spot in even the darkest times for me, both with what is happening now, as with some more personal dark times I have gone through. However dark it gets, I get really excited whenever I see that you've uploaded something new.

Dude, I just remembered you take requests? Could you do A Monster in Paris? It’s a lovely little film that’s gone almost completely under the radar. I might have to make a video on it myself soon because it’s so adorable!!

The actor who plays Hendricks is called Michael Nyqvist. It wouldn't have hurt to say his name. Especially since he died only a few years after this film came out.

So, in this movie, the bad guy's right hand man is played by a well known Finnish actor Samuli Edelmann in one of his rare Hollywood roles. Also, you used nicely the sandstorm here, a song by Darude, a Finnish artist. I'm adding "Finland win" *ping

Hey I know you must get a million movie requests a week but I thought I’d throw some in for consideration. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Almost Famous, Rango, Isle of Dogs, The Royal Tenenbaums (essentially any Wes Anderson film), The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, The Shining, O Brother Where Art Thou, Fargo (essentially any Coen Bro’s film). Those are my top requests. Also I think you should move into television as well. I would love to see you make videos on Game of Thrones, and Breaking Bad/ Better Call Saul, and I would reeeeally love to see you cover Avatar: The Last Airbender, the animated series. Just an idea, either way keep up the awesome work, I look forward to your videos every week.

Please, either Jojo Rabbit (2019's most underrated film) or Prisoners (2013's criminally underrated masterpiece)
@andiran234 жыл бұрын
Prisoners isn't underrated. It's overlooked. Slightly. It was critically and "audiencely" acclaimed and it was successful, and it's often cited as one of the 2010s best dramas AND thrillers. And it's in the top 250 on IMDb. Same for Jojo Rabbit, it was acclaimed by both critics and people and was a box-office success too, but it's overlooked too since, well, a satire about Hitler isn't for everyone, you know
@OsvaldoChannel14 жыл бұрын
underrated... how? It got multiple oscar nominations, everyone that saw it pretty much loved it, i know of 2 prominent movie reviewers who have it as their top 5 of 2019. Just because it is not widely talked about doesn't mean it's underated

What always gets me is the spin on the fall. I don't know how they did that? If he was on wires it should be straight down but the spin makes it look so authentic after he falls that it's just heart-in-mouth moment. It's mental.

Joshua Lee I love the movie but I hated that black-haired girl, she just easily got away without facing any consequences for her actions.
@joshualee34384 жыл бұрын
everything is awesome I actually think Ueno as pretty interesting of a character. She’s a direct representation of what Ishida would have turned into if he hadn’t been bullied by the rest of the class and seen the consequences of his actions. Remember, besides Ishida himself, Ueno was arguably the second biggest bully to Shoko in elementary school. But unlike Ishida she never faced the consequences of her bullying, which is why her first instinct after seeing Shoko again is to steal her hearing aid. If you ask my, I hate Kawai (blond girl) the most. She is such a fake piece of trash that is selfish beyond belief. Whenever people call her out on her BS (like Ishida did on the bridge) she starts bawling her eyes out and plays the victim card.

Best thing about this movie was the fact that a guy I used to work with was one of the engineers for the helicopters they used in Dubai. He took a picture of TC ontop of the Burj with his shoes off and got it signed by him. Then he made the mistake of posting it to Facebook before the movie came out. Thankfully, nothing bad came of it. He just took it down then reuploaded it after the release.

9:40 in an interview with 'Light the Fuse' podcast, Associate Producer Ben Rosenblatt said that this was fully intended to be Vanessa Redgrave returning as Max...but she wanted $1 million for the cameo so was dropped. He also said that the original ideas were to have Harrison Ford as the villain and Gene Hackmann as the IMF secretary who'd be killed so Tom Cruise would take over that role going forward while Jeremy Renner would lead the team [Cruise took a pay cut for this film as 'Knight and Day' under performed the previous year].
