I've loved this anime ever since the first season and as sad I was to see it go towards it's end, it really was a shockingly well done final season wrapping up a ton of characters stories and growth. I have not even finished S1 or seen S2... OK my memory is shaky enough I might of finished S1. Point is I have limited knowledge of this one. Always afraid that like OP Man it would fail to live up to my own hype of the series. Something that still prevents me from even considering OP man. Its a literal complaint of the show literally not living up to its own name. He uses more than a singular individual punch on multiple occasions; the hell do people think consecutive means? i seriously can't like the rest of the show because that is my focal point. Mob Psycho 100... is about Mob. Psycho. 100. It revolves around Mob entirely and "Psycho" I know from other works is shorthand for Psychic powers as well as other meanings when used in Japan. It does not deviate from my expectations and this vid shows S3 even surpasses them. I must watch this properly now. I could understand that doing Sin videos might be a bit of a downer to work on. On top of the doubling work load. I hope you can do win vids more now... or at least have more time with your fam.

If he didn't constantly have to measure up against people with _actual magic_ he'd be the most well-equipped person in the entire show to deal with whatever problem might come at him (and I guess that does include the "actual magic" too at that point).

Actually, Teruki has had five hairstyles: - His original hairstyle - The haircut Mob gave him in S1, and that ???% now gave him again in S3 - Top of Teru's head: 150% - The haircut (or I guess wigcut) that Sakurai gave him at the end of S1 - This newest style

I’ve heard somewhere that the cool almost whiteboard sharpie looking style they use for some of the evil spirits and then ending is actually glass painting, which is it’s true is insane that they put that much effort into the animation, but either way seeing this show again after so long just makes me smile

I recall hearing that there's pretty much _one_ person in the entire animation industry who's capable of the level of animation we see in that style in MP100. It's so niche and takes so much work to master and perform that there's just hardly anyone who specialises in it. Bones just managed to get that single person on board and they've singlehandedly been creating all the paint-on-glass animations in the entire show.

Can we take a moment to appreciate the brilliance of each season's OPs? 99 for season one and 99.9 for season two as he's dealing with all of his darkest parts and trying to figure out who he even is, but the season three OP isn't 100, it's 1. Just 1. He's finally got a grasp of himself and his life. He's confident, positive, and popular.

Actually take a listen to 99 again. It's not about Mob. They even show it with the final battle with Reigan chasing after Mob. It's literally about Reigan wanting to be like Mob.

what I find sad and what a lot of people didn't notice is that the va for Shigeo changed in the english dub due to crunchyroll prioritizing cheap hires over protecting their va talent. for those who don't know, Kyle McCarley was the original english voice in seasons one and two, but was replaced by Jason Liebrecht (he had nothing to do with this, he deserves none of the blame) in season three. Why? Because Kyle told crunchyroll about a va union called SAG AFTRA, was told by crunchyroll they wouldn't bother, and then PASSIVELY ASKED that in exchange for being shigeo in season three, they at least talk with SAG-AFTRA and get a sense of what they can do for crunchyroll itself. They decided to simply let him go.

This anime for the heck of it, can be described as a warm towel on your face after an exhausting day. Relaxing, calming and comforting. Yet sometimes it's damp and somehow you're being waterboarded. But you seem to not mind it. Just a part of the journey but a part memory locks behind in your mind. Glimpses of smiles and tears escape but in the end, it's a happy memory

Best Anime Season of Last year for me. The Way it closed all characters arc satisfactory without any asspull and to give such an amazing animation. And then that last ep. That just made me cry like a baby.

What I loved: the detail of the one to accept Mob was actually the manifestation of his powers. The Mob we'd been following all along was actually the one created by the repressed emotions and not the other way round as we were led to believe.

Firstly, this season gave us a perfect ending. I don’t care what anyone says. The final episode is flawless Secondly a fun fact, Hanazawa also voices Inosuke from demon slayer. If you listen to him when he yells you can really hear the boar boy in him Edit: Autocorrect really made me call Inosuke a Boat boy instead of boar boy huh

On Win Count #26, that art style change there is paint on glass art! It's extremely unique and a very very rare animation style. It's also what was used to make the 1st and 3rd seasons' EDs!

Couple things that bother people are dimple and mobs chrush. They feel dimples revival to be plot convenience but let's not forget, dimple was killed twice before and came back. So there's a precedence. And they think tsuboni is a shallow character, but throughout the show you get little hints that she's paying attention to the people around her and she's aware that their fondness towards her is superficial. Her and mob are both lonely because neither of them feel like their true self is seen by those around them. And the fact that she can stare down a city destroying tornado to wait for mob shows how much she actually cares about his feelings. They are perfect for each other, even though everyone mocks mobs hopeless crush

the entirety of episode 8 was a fever dream. the animation was very detailed yet simple. there was something uncanny about the whole episode. The whole time your just left with this odd feeling that something is just not right with what your seeing

Mob Psycho 100 has forever earned its spot in my Top 10 anime of all time, up there with the likes of Gurren Lagann, REDLINE, Cyberpunk Edgerunners and Ore Monogatari. Incredible characters AND characters arcs, gorgeous animation, some of the coolest fight scenes and the funniest moments and the most emotionally powerful moments... Even the "100%" gimmick was ALWAYS well-used for incredible scenes. Thanks ONE for this manga, and thanks Bones for this anime adaptation! And thank you of course for these reviews that showed me some things I missed on first viewing!

This series was really epic just for going the distance in portraying the struggles of growing up, puberty and all the messy emotions that come with it. Mob is such a good boi for finally being able to deal with his emotions in a healthy way, not bottling them up to explode. A fully emotive Shigeo warms my heart 💓

this season of mob psycho 100 easily made this anime become one of my all time favorites. the ending had me crying tears of joy because we finally see mob express joy in its entirety. he's no longer minimizing his emotions. Plus having him joyously laugh warmed my heart.

At first when I found out that this would be the end of the series I was disappointed but then I watched it and I honestly couldn't think of a better way to end it. Despite all of the fantastic fights they have never been what this story has actually been about. It's been about Mob coming to terms with himself as a person after locking his emotions away. This ending was perfect and my hat goes off to the Mangaka and everyone who worked on the anime over the years.

Mob Psycho 100 will go down in history as one of the all time classic anime. Up there with the best of the best. You have a bit of everything you could ever want in a show. *Memorable characters that all go through meaningful growth throughout the seasons *Great comedic moments enhanced by the us of unique art styles to sell the punchline *Some of the most consistent animation over 3 seasons with GOD tier level action animation while not holding back with the more quieter emotional moments either *Speaking of, I have never had a show evoke such a wide range of emotions as strongly as this show. From joy, sorrow, pure HYPE, fear and many more. So many shows just become forgettable after a few months. Mob 100 sticks with you. *Amazing music that fit near perfectly for every scene it's used in *3 back to back absolute BANGER OPs with crazy visuals to boot. Great EDs as well *Incredible VA's across the board. So much effort put into so many scenes that sell the characters and moments so well. *important themes (Finding true friendship, Don't abuse power, Not letting your emotions control you, accepting your flaws while still trying to improve yourself) These and more are all explored to great effect over the 3 seasons through one of the best portrays of a coming of age story in media period. *As close to a flawless ending as possible. Mob going from a kid suppressing his emotions due to trauma, to freely displaying true happiness for the first time with all the friends he has made along the way. I could keep going but this comment is long enough already. Studio Bones put SOOO much love and effort into bringing to life ONE's story. Somehow elevating an already near masterpiece of a web comic to a absolute GOAT anime.

Mob Psycho is one of my favorites anime of all time and I'm gonna miss it so much, I love how despite all the battles and absurd powers the main focus is the wholesome moments and character growth. I don't think there is many animes that do these kinda of thing.

Just a little extra context. Reigen takes off his shoes and socks before running after Mob. This might have a dark reason. In Japan people who unalive themselves take off their shoes and socks. In the manga it is way more focused on him calmly putting the shoes and sock away. In the anime he throws them away. But it might be a sign Reigen was fully prepared to die in order to save Mob. That's at least how I look at it.

NAHHH I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THIS ONE GOT LOWER VIEWS COMPARED TO THE PREVIOUS ONES THIS SEASON WAS SO GOOD 🥺🥺😭😭. Also I just love the alien episode so much because of how the aliens look like. I'm glad Mob psycho didn't overstay it's welcome because it's a great show and the best shows always have a set story that ends. Personally I would have liked to see a more epic battle to talk mob down though--I get that's not the point (at all) but they could have teamed up a bit against him a BIT before the talking happened for some delicious animation goodness against the "final boss." ;_;

I actually don't think Mob lost his powers. the reintegration simply allowed him to feel properly again for the first time in a very long time. He was climbing the pole because worst case? he can catch himself if he falls, but always make the attempt physically. It's a callback to the novel. Also. gladthe UFO wasn't a one off NOBODYtalks about again.

Episode 1 was so good, they deal with the issue of depression in such an oddly realistic way in how it can destroy your life make you unhygienic etc. Ending on a hopeful note for that character was nice
