ahh who needs 60-70% of important plot and character development that actually makes the story readable and engaging. Tts not like the story is actually important when we can just hand everything to the characters. I mean they had plenty of time for character development in the first season so its not like we need that here. Might as well remove a few important key figures while we are at it since no-one will miss 2 of the coolest characters who have actual experience with the outside world. I personally am saving that rant for the anisins version, but I want to say this: thank you for trying to find the good in it, but I just can’t see much beyond that point in episode 3 when Yuugo (a truly amazing character) was missing. The manga has over double the content adapted in both seasons combined; so please consider giving it a read.

No she isn’t really a Mary Sue in this season granted I haven’t been able to read the manga yet as I just got into the fandom but Emma does show some flaws as for example in the anime when her wound from cutting off her ear opens up again and she gets a fever she doesn’t tell anyone about it because she doesn’t want to worry them leading her to passing out when they find Norman again and learn about his plan when they go to try and stop Norman she talks about like saving the nice demons even though she didn’t ask about if he has ever even met a good demon she just assumes he has Sorry if I bored you with this paragraph of of stuff you probably didn’t want to read I just needed to get it off my chest since I hear it so often…😅 Also do you know where I can find the manga for tpn I haven’t been able to find it anywhere?

If you haven't read the manga you'll certainly enjoy this anime, after it ended I read the manga and saw so many things that were cut, yet I don't hold a grudge againt the anime, it was really good. The only thing I would probably point is the ending where it was perfectly set for third season, unfortunately we're not getting that.

what upsets me the most about this season is the fact that we had so many great moments that were usually followed by an unexplained plot convenience or poorly paced scene. if they had set this up for a season 3, and maybe explained some of the prior conveniences (mainly the pen) in place of the slideshow, or even had just a few more episodes in the season, i wouldve been really happy with this. the ending left the worst possible taste in my mouth and i was one of the few defending the season just a week and a half ago.

All they had to do was split it into two cores and have 24 eps in total. Always follow the manga no matter how bad it is or how good because atleast you’re respecting the proper mangakas work and nobody can complain. The "Help!" room was actually from the manga, it was related to Goldy Pond. But since the anime skipped that arc, they just used it as a cheap, end-of-episode cliffhanger that was ultimately unexplained and irrelevant.
