I met my husband 7 years ago today at Spoon at the Bluebird in Denver. I told him this was my favorite song.

I can relate to this song. I can relate a lot. I read some stuff below about ascension and whatnot, and to me the meaning of this song is much more simple. It's about moving on from somebody who you know is no good for you... somebody you have a history with. It's difficult because you have that bond with that person, but you know at the same time that they're bad for you. It's not about creepy stalker mode. But I suppose that was obvious, so I'll shut up now.

Austin houses too many memories. Difficult city to come back to and recognize if you don't live there. Like a pillar of intelligence and snobbishness that repels the rest of the state. Texas is the ultimate dichotomy. I love it.

Lyrics 🎧🎶 Don't say a word The last one's still stinging Back on my mind I feel that phone ringing And there is no way back from this Everything hits at once What we need is just what we want I go to sleep but think that you're next to me I go to sleep and think you're next to me Don't make a move When I walk out don't follow me Out in the car Can feel it calling me And ooh I would love to stay But I can still change my mind tonight I gotta change my mind somehow I go to sleep alone but think that you're next to me Everything hits at once tonight Outside is all lit up with lights In traffic we become on the way back home Part of something bigger than just on our own I gotta change my mind tonight I can still change my mind tonight Merging in traffic cross the lanes and then we become Something bigger than just anyone Oh and everything hits at once What we need is just what we want I go to sleep and think that you're next to me I go to sleep and think that you're next to me 😍

I admit that this song is more about human nature really than 'Ascension' per se, but really all ascension is is growth, and the integration of more 'light', or energy/stuff, into your body/consciousness. So while I was mainly trying to grab the attention of people (and make them wonder lol), it mainly is just a great song and touches a lot about the human condition. Sorry I upset you so Manuel, and thanks for the interest riseup... =D Peace&Blessin's, and take it easy =).

I don't truly practice any religion, though I take from them what I find to be based in Love. So, I guess I could say the only thing I practice is that: Love (in the broader, more divine sense of the word) :D. ~Peace and Blessings~
