I’ve lived in my house for almost a year. And we still don’t have a dining table and chairs. The dining room is very small, so I can’t get a big table. I think my husband is bidding on one at an estate sale, I hope he gets it. I’m sick of my dogs sitting on the couch with me while I eat. They are all little beggars. That’s the last piece we need. To fill the house. Which is much smaller than yours. But it’s very easy to keep clean, so I love it.

I think it would look best if you switched where your dining and living areas are- if you did it would give you a bigger area for seating and less awkward open space where you currently have your dining table if that makes sense! otherwise you do you

Seller probably gave them a year home warranty with American Home Shield or someone like that. Pretty typical for homeowners to throw one in as incentive to buy their house
