Thanks Liz, I can tell the thumbs down are because of that. But no real negative comments about it so I guess people choose to be offended anonymously. Which is totally fine. I just think people worry too much about them being personally attacked by something, but that takes away from the bigger picture. They aren’t targeting every male, they are trying to speak to an unfortunate reality that many people experience. ❤️

If you liked "Alone", you may like a similar film from 2015 called "Curve" starring Julianne Hough and Teddy Sears. She plays a young woman traveling alone who crosses paths with a seemingly nice dude who turns out to be anything but. Speaking of your girl Nicole Kidman, one of my favorite films of hers is "Birth" from 2004. Directed by Jonathan Glazer, who also helmed "Sexy Beast" and "Under the Skin." I would definitely suggest Sweet Home on Netflix it’s a South Korean horror series which I really enjoyed it not particularly scary as some of the CGI isn’t the best, but it was definitely worth a watch

Hi Emma! :) If you like Korean Horror, I recommend watching 'Sweet Home' over at Netflix! It's kinda campy but much fun to watch, and so scary and disturbing at the same time!! VFX and practical effects with monsters' designs are all amazing, I can't recommend it enough to everyone!

I also recommend the OTHER HOMEWRECKER starring Robby Benson (Beast from the Disney classic Beauty and the Beast toon) And Kate Jackson (Charlie's angels), it's quite different than this 2020 version. Also, you might wanna see The Dinner Party, Demon Seed, Voices (About a woman visiting her sister who's bi-polar in the cabin woods) Plus Evolver. Not gonna spoil what it's all about! lol.

Oh yeah, The Undoing. It's an interesting story and another in the 'Nicole Kidman's characters are horrible judges of character in potential husbands' line. It was nice though, to see a fellow Italian (actress Matilda De Angelis, who played Elena, is a well-known actress here) in such a high-brow production.

Come Play was pretty offensive in it's approach to Autism. Anyone I personally know who is Autistic or knows people who are were unimpressed. Don't want to spoil for those who want to watch... but the "touching" moment near the end had me swearing at the screen (good thing it was a drive in)

I stopped Lovecraft Country after the big trans(?)phobic episode (where the characters are shocked/disgusted by the sight of an intersex body (played by a cis actress) just for them to be unceremoniously killed off... blergh!!)... I still kind of want to go back to it, but that entire ordeal left an awful taste in my mouth... Hadn't heard of The Undoing, though! I love Nicole Kidman and this looks right up my alley of things to binge in an afternoon! *-* I'll keep it in mind!

HillBilly Elegy is a solid, wonderful and uplifting movie. (Wayyy better than the trash some of the woke reviewers are fans of). Glenn Close is phenomenal. Oscar-worthy performance. Amy Adams and the kids are great. An engaging, inspirational good movie. Made me cry. :)

I wouldn't watch anything by Ryan Murphy (The Prom)...I just got pandering fatigue from him at this point and an entitled attitude. He is overrated and someone needs to make him stop, though he does put many underrepresented people to work.
