We are all born politicians by the very nature of our establishment by the Declaration of Independence. Why? Because we are responsible to secure our inherent natural unalienable rights. As Fredrick Douglas, who repeated Samuel Adams, to secure our rights we have 3 boxes, the ballot box, the jury box, and if those fail….the cartridge box. You and your neighbor are the militia so it is always advantageous to know your neighbors well. Great video! I’m still looking for that ‘just right’ piece of property there in Idaho and your agent is doing a fine job.👍🏻

I talk with a lot of people and the biggest common thing I found is the reason they moved here. For most it was the government over reach during covid. For us we had always planned to move back to Idaho when we retired but the government over reach during covid pushed us to move 20 years ahead of schedule. We originally lived in Bellingham WA so we are more than used to cold.

My family has been binge watching your videos. We wish we could all move there together. My parents have been going there trying to decide the best place for all of us an checking it out. We've always felt like foreigners where we are now since we kept our own standards and way of life.

I lived in Rathdrum, idaho from 1997 to 2011,relocated to southern Oregon to accompany my daughter while she went to college - she graduated after 4 years and took a job in southern california in law enforcement, so my husband and i moved back to our beloved Idaho - we now live in Kuna, by Boise. And have since 2017, we will be spending summers back in the rathdrum area eventually. I was a Realtor from 2000 to 2011 in Coeur d alene and in my experience, Trent is extremely knowledgeable and honest, if I needed a Realtor, I would not hesitate in contacting him as he is very knowledgeable about the area ‼️AND CALIFORNIANS, dont hesitate in moving to Idaho, you wont regret the move if you can handle the cold and the snow and embrace our conservative politics. You are welcome as long as you assimilate to being a conservative, if liberalism is for you, go to Portland or Seattle. I too was from Southern California: i grew up in palm springs, California 🥵 and wholeheartedly love the winters in North Idaho - winter is far easier in southern Idaho. More sun down here too. North Idaho can be dark in the winter. But that being said, I have seen the Northern Lights in Rathdrum and we often had moose in our yard‼️

America is the Greatest country in history. It's sad to see so many americans doesn't understand it and honestly really hated the republic. As a foreigner who never been in the Sates I feel more american than a lot of US citiezens. Keep it that way Idaho. Hope I can name myself Idahoan someday.

Oh #8 was great, 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 especially come snow & flood season. The gov't wants the tax money, but only the city folks demand & expect services, including being rescued from their own irresponsible actions. I live in the upper elevation of the WA Cascades & maybe headed a little further east in a yr or so. I've have had enough! 😊 I totally agree with your realistic list!

So I'm wondering just whereabouts in Idaho does the weather get more mild (shorter winters mostly)? I have a buddy that lived in Twin Falls and he said that was overall pretty mild but hotter in the summer than in western WA. where we are from. I am still shopping for where in Idaho would be best for my family and I'm okay with the snow and north Idaho but my family? Not so much. I'm guessing it's more about elevation but I would love to hear your thoughts.
@LivingLifeNorthIdaho
@LivingLifeNorthIdaho Жыл бұрын
@WhoWouldWantThisName good question. And you’re right about elevation. I believe Lewiston has some of the most mild winters since their elevation is so low at just 745’.

@@LivingLifeNorthIdaho Thanks. That's really good to know. I was thinking I may have to look further south, though to be honest I reeeealy strongly prefer the green mountains of the north. I want to live in a place that naturally speaking looks more like western WA., or north Idaho. I lived in Las Vegas and while everyplace has it's own beauty and charm we all have preferences. I know my family would be okay with the snow and freezing temps for 2 or 3 months but more than that and I think there would be a mutiny, lol. We're used to maybe 2 or 3 WEEKS of snow and ice.

@@WhoWouldWantThisName The southeast of Idaho is frigid, as is around McCall. (Elevation and weather patterns.). Warmest indeed are Lewiston > Orofino > Kamiah > Kooskia on Route 12 (the Banana Belt) and the Riggins/White Bird area. I believe Riggins is warmer than Lewiston even but it's pretty isolated.

I watch your videos and I start planning my move to Idaho, then another news story hits and I say to myself "better hold off a bit longer". All your points are definitely great reasons to make Idaho home, but when extremists get voted on to school boards then that's something to worry about. WIth all the migration happening, it's best to hold off to see if Idaho becomes something no Idahoan wants.......

The government is not here to save you...they're just here to tax you. The more I watch your videos the more I hope to visit Idaho some day! P.S. I agreed with all your points and would say if Idahoans are as affable as you are it must really be a great place to live.
