Thanks. Great job presenting the vehicles and news. Biggest surprise is Polestar 4 will be made in South Korea in the coming years. Did you notice the Zeekr manual in it when you opened the glovebox? I like the 3's interior best. And it is interesting you say the 4 looks like a sedan because that's what it looks like to me as well.

It actually is a sedan (or a big hatch), just like the Zeekr 001 it is based on. "SUV Coupe" is simply marketing bs by Polestar since it's neither an SUV nor a coupe.

The reason it looks smaller/less high is the black skirt on the side which make it look more compact.

The vehicle that the 4 is based on is the Zeekr 001 which is a wagon/shooting brake so it makes sense that if you coupeified the back end of it you'd get a really long liftback sedan basically lol.

Comercial cars don't have rear window, and there are thousands of them out there in the roads! The Polestar 4 is a great looking car and as a great camera in the back where you can more that if you had a rear view window

Nice job you guys! @sypnotix? What is your take on the ride quality of the 4? Seems like the 3 is smooth - wonder if the 4 is stiff and bumpy like the Model 3 and Polestar 2?

Thanks! The 4 did not seem more stiff or bumpy than the Model 3 or PS2. We own both of those cars and at least from the short rides we had on the 3 and 4 around the nearby streets of Santa Monica, I would say they were both quite more comfortable to ride in. I do not believe we exceeded 55 MPH though so our experience is very limited. We'll have a better feel once Polestar releases the cars to drive so we can test it with our own driving tendencies.

When you were being driven in the 5, looking up, it looked like the glass roof panel was not clear. Is that something new?

Unfortunately none of us got a chance to see inside the 5. They are not past the prototyping build yet.

The 3 and the 4 are the most important cars. Polestar 5 and 6 are really cool but the 3 and 4 are the ones we are going to start seeing on the roads next year. I think they both look great.

The Precept was beautiful. My brother is the Director of Design at Polestar. Super excited to get my 3 or 4 when they come out.

great video! something that triggers me is that pp are "mad" about the rear view is gone........ Noone needs a rear window period, they are 99.999999% useless anyway. Its just us humans who think we need it even tho we dont need it. I have owned and drove many many cars over thee years and the rear view is just dogshit in all of them. A camera will give you WAY more usefull view then a window.

Change is difficult for many people. I've noticed since we've gone full EV the last few years that I don't turn my head to look back at the rear window. I look at the rear view mirror, side mirrors and my side window. If the rear view mirror is a wider and clearer image of the rear view, it really does eliminate the need for that window. Our only concern is whether the camera is high quality enough and performs reliably. We'll see when the car comes out!

It was an invite only event mainly shareholders, media, and owners of the vehicles from what we could gather.

Why is the Polestar 4 the only vehicle with a rounded front end? 😢 All the other cars are sharp and vicious... But they went with the bubbly Tesla approach with the 4 sadly

Because it's just a reskinned Zeekr 001. Same goes for the side windows. They don't sweep up like on the other Polestar models, but they are identical to the ones of Zeekr 001. The interior is also different from the other Polestar models and looks close to the one of Zeekr 001. At least the Zeekr 001 has a rear window.

@@fabulous_y5654 they have polished a lot of things though. Operating system. Much better speakers (Zeekr 001 was really weak - I tested it) - Polestar 4 is 1600w compared to 200-300w in speaker. They got rid of copper and created a more consistent nice light color scheme. Another weak point of Zeekr is the microphone - this has been optimized a lot in Polestar 4. Also, they bring the electrochromic panoram glass to Europe which was not provided in Zeekr 001. The battery is bigger and and the cd value is better. Noise insulation is better with insulation on the panorama window as well.
