Such a fan of the Polestar brand! They are effectively the logical followup on the crazy 850r, s60r, v70r, s60 Polestar and such Volvos in a time where big turbocharged 5 (6) cylinders are no longer allowed. Might not have the noise of a 5 cylinder but a slightly more social city car. Polestar 2 or Polestar precept is probably going to be my next car. So why they make them? I am still very social in my S60R... 270k miles and maintained! Which is more socially responsible: driving a car until it dies completely and can no longer be used, or throwing one away every 5 or 7 years and replacing it with another new one that is using up even more resources? I get the move to EV and I get the thought process of "more efficient" but we also really should consider how much less resources are used once a car is produced to keep it running. Besides, that B5254T4 at full throttle is still one of the sexiest sounds on the planet!
