@@BabysitterSky He was pretty much on the same gear then any bodybuilder in the 70s and 80s. Also, juicing alone doesn't build muscles - you still need to work hard plus you need the genetics for it. He is 69 years old, still fit and looks very good for his age. I know of people who in their end 50s were saying how healthy and fit they are, and in their mid 60s barely could walk...

Lou has joined the ranks of the hearing thanks to cochlear implants. I'm so happy for him as he was my childhood hero. I received a picture postcard as a 10-year old from being a member of the incredible hulk fan club!

Arnold beat him mentally. In pumping iron, Arnold had the mental edge by talking himself up as the best and he wasn't bowing down to nobody. Arnold was basically the version of Ali in his prime.

The Incredible Hulk was one of my favorite shows growing up. No matter what I was doing, I made sure that I was in front of the television when the Hulk came on. I'm fifty four years old and I have a poster I bought of Lou as the Incredible Hulk when I was a child, and it hangs proudly in my office today. These old school bodybuilder knew about nutrition. Yeah, people crack on them for steroids, but they did not have the amount of supplementation and protein shakes that we have today when Ferrigno started. They had to figure out to do it with actual food.
