2024 was quite a year! Y’all accomplished so much in 12 short months. I’m in total agreement with Ashley that 2025 is the year for getting that house built! All the side projects were cool, but you’ve done that. Now we need to see the house grow and start to look like a house! And you’re already on your way. I’m starting to see the hallway looking like a hallway. I can’t wait to see a roof on that thing! And plastering is going to take all of 2026! What a wonderful year! Such basic things -- space for farm animals and pets, flush toilet, washer and dryer, the berm and swale, and a room of her own for Adali. Basic, but long on comfort as well as time saving. I envy the people who can take off and go to your workshops. I can't, but the videos let me see what you are doing. More than that, I get ideas for my own projects. Your videos are well edited, coherent, and focused. You are the highlight of my week.

Great recap for your year! I love watching the progress, the kids, animals and all. Kanab is awesome! There is a great little museum in Fredonia AZ, called the Red Pueblo Anasazi museum. It's small but packed with history. I hope you can visit there while you're in the area, it's just a few miles from Kanab.

Wonderful to watch you guys finish the smaller projects and continue reasonable progress on your home. I’ve had to stop watching another couple’s utube posts out of frustration because they have similar goals and work really hard but have yet to finish any of their projects. I think my favorite project is the tiny dome. It felt like an acknowledgement of your daughter’s hard work at an age when most kids would have rebelled. Great family dynamics.

These annual recaps are so cool. Growing up in the 50s and early 60s, Dad was into slide photography. We always enjoyed slide shows of Family trips. I can picture you years from now and you're settled in your around house, kicking back at the holidays saying What were we doing 10 years ago?

Drains in the middle of bathrooms are very useful, they do that in Japan. Part of itwas because they washed outside of the tub, rince off and then soak in the tub. They use tubs that can be reheated, since they don't wash in the tub the water is clean so they can save it for another day.
