Kane is an incredibly creative individual and I have no doubt he will push to make this movie as good as it can possibly be. In his discord, he mentioned that filming is hopefully still going to happen this year, and everyone but him is ready to begin production, as from what I understand there's a few details he's not comfortable with just yet- which is good, as he wants to make sure this film follows his vision as closely as possible. I cannot wait to see more updates from him in the future, as I'm a MASSIVE fan of his work and super excited for the series. Also, there's been a bit of a rumor going around that the movie might be a sort of prequel to the current story we have right now- like maybe earlier expeditions? It would make sense for the backroom's first theatrical debut, but keep in mind, these are just rumors. Still, thought some people might find it interesting ;)

he... isnt an individual doing all this work and writting its been a collaberative effort since the start. they just never gave credit until the mall series, after that kane started doing podcasts giving some credit some they stil have a bad habit of not crediting it all stems from resident evil speed runs(the no clip idea) windagoon (youtube channel, and other fan channels actually have played a part) some modellers and other enthusiets on kanes discord server names, i dont have for you. not clearly not yet

​@@theRPGmaster of course they're friends. i forgot exactly what this threaddetailed here, but the only thing i was 'confused' about were some of the comments and feels established around kane and the backrooms series. maybe its really the production side of lots of youtube media.. but kane was presented as an individual, young and very talented artist, with a solid concept and writing and cg talent, and just being the full force of the series himself single handedly, but thats not true. first theres DAD, and his crew, and style, when people like Dad and kane become friends they stay friends and pool recourses, i mean thats why they worked/work together. he even pays homage to the true value store. and windagoon and the resident evil no clip speed run trope. obviously the transition into the backrooms (like the dark backspaces of the engines exploited in speed running plus his overall horror style, also injected into the backrooms and windagoon's interest in the albums everywhere at the end of tiime that feel all in the backrooms, kane even shows the cover of 6 as blue tape on the concrete, as a homage i mean we could go on and on about the details, but they are there, and they can all be traced back to people or media that arent kane. even (after i brought up my concerns to a youtuber in convo) kane appears doing an rare interview with them, and explains himself, addressing exactly what i brought up there, and starts that interview off saying.. i had a great cg modeler doing the mall in dallas, named the guys, gave him his 'coverage' for his skill he contriputed to kane and that... being my main concern and why im even still going on.... is what i may be confused about again, dont get me wrong. i like cane. he does work great magic upon digital media, and he should continue doing what he loves (i like it) but this series. i suppose like all art,builds off ideas usually that have already been expressed by other people art doesnt go around crediting everything thats influenced its all even under the CCL, and kane is open about that...but but in the world of hollywood and in the eyes of big fans credits, to where credit is due is worth the effort to express because it gives respect and it gives oppertunity to all that great talent that invested in the projects it should be very obvious that a full production of the backrooms series as it is is hugely improbable for a single 17 year old cg artist / director , to plot, to model, to edit, to voice, to sound, to post, to fully exacute, and do interviews AND also maintain a social life, and attend school, and pitch, and make a 'not kane pixels',(but kane parsons) channel producing music almost daily this.. is what production houses do. they manage the talent within their network i believe Kane pixels... is just that. a network, of very talented people windagoon, is not just kanes friend but also seems to be the pitch and the producer, and the one that supplied the framework extending from the original fourchan post, and the CCL around it im just confused why no credit, really at all beyond 1 or two voice actors was ever given through its run and why it all went to kane parsons instead. you know. the one that was offered a postition with a traditional 2.5 billion dollar company with 300 or more employess plus they're working with Atomic Monster, Chernin Entertainment, and 21 Laps Roberto Patino is screenwriting kanes world into a24s i have a feeling windagoon, just wanted the best for his friend i just feel kinda bad about all the other friends that don't seemeto have gotten the best like kane did (but kane did respond to me. not directly but did begin giving credit to those working on the newest series with him, in the same place i brought it up publicly online, and less than a week later) (sadly they maybe forgotten , a24 holds the licences over the specifics of the kane pixels story and characters now. even kane can't use them anymore, unless kane pixels lawyers renegotiated with a24 later on) pretty sure im actually not confused on any of this. just maybe confused on why youtube and its community does this to the talent that makes things happen

The "R" rating is the giveaway for this because films can only be given a rating when they're ready for release, and this tantalising project seems a long way off from that. Also, if the film is true to Kane's work so far, I don't see how it would receive an R either

a backrooms movie that they will make will be exactly like what youve all seen already...a teen dropping into the backrooms running around screaming being chased then at the very end a monster eats them...the end for 30 minutes of the film youll see the teen and his friends walking and laughing around then for an hour youll see the teen having a panic attack screaming running and then for 1 minute at the very end youll see the monster eat him then credits... wow very exciting lmao...it will fail and be forgotten within a week...theyll need to go big if they want this to not fail...all in with the gvt and military involved and at least 2 hours and action like james cameron aliens... btw the first backrooms was in hellraiser by clive barker...the labrynth is the true og backroom and that would be terrifying if there was a game with that place...hellraiser 1 and 2 went big really big and became an iconic franchise...when you compare a 17 year olds backrooms with clive barkers backrooms well just ponder on that

I am very concerned that Kane Pixels and A24 are going to try and copyright material that is properly in the public domain. The Backrooms belong to us all. It really gets me angry to hear ppl say that Kane Pixels "invented" the Backrooms. He did not. He didn't even come up with the first Backrooms found footage. (That was a YT creator named Nick Crowley far as I can tell.) Other creators need to release Backrooms movies. For example, I'd love to see Stranger Things dedicate a season to the Backrooms. KEEP THE BACKROOMS FREE.

The one thing i am afraid of in this movie is that majority of movies ends with a happy ending or escape . but The Main Idea of the Backrooms is that There is No escape You must accept your faith . If in this movie end the main cast escape the backrooms it will ruin the entire idea of backrooms. because as of any backrooms cannon, stories, or even wiki there is NO ESCAPE.
