How WILLIAM AFTON became SPRINGTRAP (This is how he will RETURN!)

In this video, I will go over how William Afton (purple guy) became Springtrap. I will also very briefly cover the William Afton Five Nights At Freddy’s (FnAF) Lore.

So, for you guys who have a really short attention span, just read this comment. This is the actual story -- according to FNAF lore, and FNAF 3 minigames. [i think] So, in 1985 [5 years ago from 1993, when this all happened] William killed 5 children. Then, in 1993 he returned to Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, and dismantled the suits. However, the spirits/ghosts of the children he had murdered and stuffed into the suits of Freddy, Bonnie, Foxy and Chica came back and cornered him. He couldn't escape, so he went into a Spring-bonnie costume left there before Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria closed, and he went inside it. Then, one tiny raindrop dripped into the suit, causing a springlock to go off. He panicked, which made more springlocks immediately go off, and before long every single springlock was off. Now here's what happened during the springlock failure. [VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED, THIS IS VERY VOLENT SOUNDING, SO IF YOU'RE SENSITIVE TO THESE TOPICS, PLEASE STOP READING] Anyways, so one springlock snapped, which did a huge wound and then one of them punctured his vocal cords, and william afton put it as 'The springlocks tear through skin AND bone, and you either bleed out or drown in your own blood. Blood massed up in his lungs, his eyes went INTO HIS SKULL AND METAL EYES WENT INSIDE, and his organs got punctured, and he couldn't even scream.. He had to watch himself slowly die... but he didn't die. By the time it was over, he didn't even have skin OR bone. I don't think he had organs either, from that point he was pure flesh. And, he couldn't even leave.. trapped forever in a furry springbonnie springlock costume. That's gruesome.. Okay, you can read again. He sat in the saferoom of the pizzeria for 30 years [yes, exactly 30 years -- 1993 - 2023] [AND YES, FNAF 3 TAKES PLACE IN 2023.] He returned in 2023 after being tossed into Fazbear's Fright. And that's the end! Well. That was all pretty gruesome, wasn't it? Well, I just wanted to share it with the people with no attention span. You do NOT have to read this, if you want just watch the video, and i'm sorry to the creator if the average watchtime is smaller because people instead read this comment, but that is basically how William Afton became springtrap, that's exactly how it happened. And, if we get 10 likes, I'll explain the backstory before 1993. Edit 1: Ooookay, so we got 10 likes, so here we go. In 1983, Henry Emily [founder of fazbear entertainment] and William Afton [co-founder of fazbear entertainment] opened FredBear's Family Diner, with FredBear - A golden grizzly bear and SpringBonnie -- A yellow rabbit, and the golden duo performed on stage, and one day on a child's birthday -- his brother [Michael Afton] played a prank with his 3 uno buddies, and shoved the child into FredBear's mouth, but something went wrong. FredBear clenched his jaw down on the child's skull, which was not meant to happen, and the child died in a gruesome way. This incident was dubbed the Bite of 83'. Now, William Afton was in rage because his child died, and he had a reason that he thought was fair to kill his first kill, since Henry designed FredBear, the one who killed his child, and some bullies pushed out Charlie [Henry's daughter] AND NO, NOT THE CHARLIE FROM THE BOOKS, CHARLIE IS NOT 16 IN FNAF,] on her birthday, but William came up while the Puppet fed children cake, and William killed Charlotte. The puppet then came out shortly after and Charlie's soul made out of remnant fused with the Puppet -- as we see in the FNAF 6 minigame. Then, it went quiet for a while. Shortly after, William opened up a restaurant named Circus Baby's Pizza World, with 4 animatronics -- Ballora, Funtime Foxy, Funtime Freddy and Circus Baby. Circus Baby is the most important for now -- as Elizabeth was told by William to not go near Circus Baby, but Elizabeth did anyway. and Circus Baby went into death mode [Circus Baby was designed to kill kids when they were alone in a party room] and Circus Baby killed Elizabeth. [At this time, Baby's eyes were blue, keep that in mind] And then, in 1985, Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria was opened, and William decided to cripple the restaurant's success, by leading 5 children into the saferoom of the restaurant, and killed them. The names of these kids were Jeremy,Fritz,Susie,Gabriel and *cassidy*. Jeremy was stuffed into Bonnie, Fritz was stuffed into Foxy, Susie was stuffed into Chica, Gabriel was stuffed into Freddy, and *cassidy* was stuffed into Golden Freddy - A sort of variant to FredBear. And then, parents noticed that their kids went missing, and sortly after, people noticed that the animatronics started to rot, but the police had no evidence aganist William. so they couldn't arrest him. In 1987, Fazbear Entertainment made a new restaurant with the so called 'Toy animatronics' and William led another 5 children into the saferoom of the new pizzaplace, and it closed, then Jeremy Fitzgerald decided to take the job of nightguard for the closed restaurant. Then, Michael Afton [disguised as Fritz Smith] took a nightshift for one night and tampered with the animatronics, and when he got fired he disabled their AI, the final nail in the coffin. The same thing happened in 1993, Michael Afton [now disguised as Mike Schmidt, using his mother's surname] took a job at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria that had closed 8 YEARS AGO, and on his final night he tampered with the animatronics and also disabled their AI, and shortly after William Afton came in and dismantled the animatronics. ...That was his final mistake. The souls made out of remnant that had possessed the suits [including *cassidy*] had been released as ghost children and cornered William. He went into the springbonnie suit, and had a springlock failure since water dripped into the suit, and you know what happened next. The End!

I doubt that Evan's tears were the reason the springlocks failed and caused the Bite of 83. I think it's because the Fredbear animatronic is programmed to close and open it's mouth while performing, as we can see *BEFORE* Evan gets shoved into the mouth. This probably means that the springlocks didn't kill Evan, but the programmed state did.

Fredbear was not in FNAF 1, nor was he one of the animatronics William Afton stuffed the bodies of the deceased children into. Those animatronics were Freddy Fazbear, Chica, Bonnie, Foxy and Golden Freddy. But other than that, the explanation for how William became Springtrap makes sense.

I thought that the springlocks were already activated when the suit was in animatronic mode. If they were already activated, they couldn't snap shut since they were already unwound. I think Fredbear was in animatronic mode when the bite happened since were couldn't see anybody inside, if Fredbear was being worn as a suit, the person inside would've stopped Michael. I don't think the bite was a springlock failure. But, that aside, I love your attention to detail.

If you were to watch the five nights at Freddy’s movie, you would know that Abby possess the animatronics to kill William Afton.

The bite of 83 can not be a springlock failure. I'm not fully convinced you understand how springlock suits fully work because of you using Battington's mostly inaccurate depictions of them. Here is what i know base on only official media: springlock sutis are costumes that contain an endoskeleton connected to springlocks on the inside of the suit, this endoskeleton can be held out of the way by the springlocks when they have been wound up. Majority of the endoskeleton is always inside the suit the suit, but the head is removed but it has an exoskeleton on the costume, which is visible on Springtrap's model. When the springlocks fail, the endoskeleton snaps back into it's usual position and destroys anything in it's way. Note that the springlocks will never touch the wearer though, it is only the endoskeleton and exoskeleton that can possibly make contact. The bite of 83 can not be a springlock failure for many reasons: firstly, the suit is clearly not being worn by a person, this means that the springlocks are already released, the endoskeleton is not pulled back, and no springlock related accident can occur. Secondly, even if this was a springlock failure somehow, the jaw would never snap like that. The jaw seems to be controlled by hydraulics, and if you tried to use springlocks to lift a jaw up and down you can see how it would be pretty unethical and whacky, you would need to somehow wind up the springlocks and make them fail for every slight movement of the jaw, and even then it would look ridiculous. This video is still nice an i can see the effort, and I know researching is hard when most sources have incorrect information. This is just to correct some mistakes, good video though.

@@bussieboy7064 I think it's simple. The jaw was most likely controlled by hydraulics and it was probably moving to either lip-sync with the song or it was just on a standard loop. With the bite victim being in the jaw at that time, the animatronic probably just tried to keep moving it's jaw and crushed him. The short moment of Fredbear not crushing him could have just been a dramatic slow-mo or it could have been the animatronic slightly malfunctioning due to the jaw not fully closing, somehow. Idk, but that's just my theory.
