So, I think that Roxy is the new guardian. The reasons why is because for 1, Cassie has a Roxy Walkie-talkie, green nails like Roxy and red/purple light up sneakers which are Roxy's colors. Plus, in the trailer Roxy doesn't look like she's attacking Cassie unlike the Monty scene which is very much a death screen. But yeah, this is only speculation, but its things I and others have noticed. For she looked at Cassie hand when she put it on her shoulder, and didn't just try to hurt her like in her death screen in SB. Also, I think this is a trap. Gregory seems way too damsel in destres like, for why would he mention how dark it is when in SB he's been through dark and scary areas with no issue? So yeah, I think its a trap.

Maybe at the start of the DLC Roxy is as aggressive as the others, but Cassy is able yo counter hack her, bringing back Roxy's personality pre-Glitchtrap hack, so then Roxy becomes Cassy's Guardian and protects her where, maybe during the course of the DLC Cassy can "upgrade" Roxy by fixing her back to a sorta fixed state

I could see that, but will add one thing: From her very first voice lines in Security Breach, we know that Roxy craves external validation, praise, and adoration - none of which she's been able to get in the weeks/months trapped in the ruined Pizzaplex. If Cassie is able to tap into those needs right away (whether by complimenting her on how she'd be a cool hero, or just promising to give her back her looks), Roxy could easily be an ally.

I’d say the princess quest ending might be the canon ending, because Vanessa is completely missing from this trailer, but we see and use Vanny’s mask, so it would explain that, and also in that ending only Freddy’s head escapes so it would also explain why his body would still be there, because it’s missing it’s head, and it’s the only three star ending in the whole game, so it would make sense why it would be the canon ending

12:19 An important thing to note is that the two Vanny masks are noticeably different. The one in SB is part of her costume, likely made of whatever fabric Vanessa could get her hands on and covers the entire head like a Scooby-Doo mask. The one in the Ruin trailer looks more like the one in HW (you can tell the difference as the ear has a brownish colour on it whereas the one in SB is all lighter colours), is clearly made from a more solid material with circuitry and only covers the face and not the back of the head.

Maybe the reason roxy doesn't attack is because she repaired herself or got repaired using freddy's parts, which could have cause reboot, and she was set boot into safe mode on her next reboot. as maintenance thought the other animatronics would suffer the same problem as freddy since their programming is the same on the base level. Hoping to solve the problem at a later date.

Another thing to note: last time Greg told someone to come to the pizzaplex, it was with clear intentions of ending them, in the book. I don't want to say those are directly related, but we cannot ignore the fact that GGY came out only a few weeks ago, now we have another case of "Gregory" asking another child to come to the sus pizzaplex? They are practically screaming at us to connect the dots and pay attention.

I'd be curious to see if the ruined Daycare Attendant ends up being an ally, if only at the start. Unlike most theories about Eclipse, where the dangerous Moon overtakes the friendly Sun when the lights are on, this character seems to have Sun either merging or strongly influencing Moon during a period of perpetual darkness. Even with their creepy looks, they don't seem hostile like Moon. They just give Cassie a non-threatening wave. Combined that with Cassie apparently not being afraid of them - no hiding, no fighting, and not even taking a step back when they approach - I'm curious how helpful they could end up being in the final release.

A question that I haven't seen many people asking is, why Cassidy? As in, why is this specific girl being either contacted by Gregory or The Mimic. If it's Gregory, you could potentially explain it away as a classmate, but I find this pretty unlikely. Would a random little girl that happened to know Gregory really check out an abandoned Pizza Plex with no adult supervision If you subscribe to the Gregbot theory (which I don't), she might be another robot that knew Gregory from whatever facility they were kept in. Hence why he would reach out to her and not someone else. I don't believe this though because why in the holy hell would Afton, or the Mimic, ever build a robot version of Charlie. If it's not meant to literally be the Charlie we know, why would he build a robot of a random little girl. She doesn't look anything like Elizabeth, so it couldn't even be a version of Elizabeth that Charlie is possessing. I just don't see the robot theory making sense here. As for the mimic contacting her, I see a few possible explanations. Let's get the weakest one out of the way. He could be contacting her because he's mimicking one of William's most prominent behaviors, murdering children, so he reached out to a random friend of Gregory for the sole purpose of murdering her to be more like Afton. This is possible, but it runs into that same problem of it being unlikely that a random child would head into a spooky Pizza Plex to save her friend instead of ya'know contacting the police, her parents, or a teacher. But this is still a potential route they could head down. Now let's get down to my spiciest and favorite potential explanation. What if the Cassidy we see is a little girl possessed by The Vengeful Spirit? If remnant can be used to possess a corpse (Michael Afton), why couldn't it be used to possess a still living body? Maybe Cassidy, desperate to stop William, possessed a child so that she could have a physical body to interact with the physical world again. Or maybe Mimic put her in this little girls body because he was afraid of how powerful she was as a spirit. (If she was the one that defeated glitchtrap via princess quest, it would make sense that Mimic would try to shut that down immediately before she got to him). Either way, the first hurdle this thought process needs to overcome is why would this version of Charlie would know who Gregory is without knowing that he isn't in the Pizza Plex? I figure this is likely a side effect of this new type of possession. Since there is still a soul within the body when The Vengeful Spirit takes over, maybe that either messes with The Vengeful Spirit's memory or causes her to become inert within this little girl's body. Maybe the little girl that's currently in control of the body knew Gregory beforehand. And when, "Gregory," reaches out, The Vengeful Spirit uses this girl's desire to save her friend to push her into going to the Pizza Plex by herself. (I don't think the little girl would know about the spirit inside of her btw. This pushing would take the form of stray thoughts in the girl's mind that she thinks are her own or something like that). As for why the Mimic is calling them down there. Maybe he found a way to permanently excise Cassidy's spirit and wants to deal with her once and for all. I know a lot of this is rampant speculation, but I'm mainly throwing this out into the world to hopefully help other people in their thought processes. Plus, The Stitch Wraith provides us with an example of something similar to this happening, so it's not like this is completely uncharted territory. I realized after typing this up, that it is possible that William/Mimic built a Cassidy bot to contain the spirit. This is possible, but, at what point would Cassidy bot have met Gregory? Even if you subscribe to the Gregbot theory, it seems unlikely that the Cassidy bot would exist before the ending of Security Breach. After all, it seems really likely that Cassidy is the spirit in Princess Quest. But maybe this could work if you believe that Charlie is in Princess Quest while Cassidy is contained in a separate bot.

Two more of them appeared in fnaf6's Fruity Maze (A game that's beeing played at the fnaf6 Freddy's. not in the past), Susie and William Afton. Both of them reappeared in SB. Susie had a new alias and she went on to destroy yet another Fruity Maze machine in a Tales Of story. William Afton worked at the PizzaPlex under his Dave alias.

My theory is: I think the glitchy rabbit we see at the end there is actually Bonnie. Stuck in some kind of glitchy hell, given he was used to put Burn Trap together again. So his being is essentially being tormented as he's been assimilated by the Glitch Trap virus. And because Vanny's mask is linked to Glitch Trap that's why we can see him. Maybe with the mask we try to help him or maybe he's used Afton's pawn. I do think it'd be cool if in Ruin we actually saw what became of Bonnie.

Nope, if you look at the monster at the end of Princess Quest 1, it's the exact same design. It could be a representation of glitchtrap, or more likely the game's equivalent of the mimic's code, which, if you decide to look at it this way, could be glitchtrap, but that'd make glitchtrap the game equivalent to the mimic, and the mimic would've had to have seen, and been around william enough to get his entire personality, which is also semi-unlikely, but then again the entire idea of a "glitchtrap" is sort of a stretch on its own.

think about it like this: Roxy had her eyes put in freddy's head, and freddy's head survived in the PQ ending; it only makes sense she'd take his head to get her eyes back with how petty and bottomless her jealousy is. Freddy ended up fully upgraded at the end, and if her taking freddy's head only results in improvement from her old one with the voice box, regaining her eyes, and having it in a better state than the shattered one I can totally see roxy wanting to swap 'em.

the game itself sucks ass but the designer for music man and the daycare attendant did a phenomenal job. the daycare attendant specifically has such a cohesive color scheme that compliments their solar/lunar/astrology theme and the shape language in general, but that's purely from an artist perspective.

I know this sounds like Longshot, but "Gregory " in Ruin is a mimic. The Blob yoinked Burntrap out. According to the final frame, Gregory and Glamrock Freddy peaced out and were sitting together on a hilltop. That's if the depiction is not figurative or meant to be a definite portrayal of what happened to the characters. A case can be made for that ending being just as literal and definite as the alternate endings. If they are all literal and definite, them Gregory and Glamrock Freddy got their happy ending while Vanny remains unaccounted for. If the VR twin / fire ending is part of the math, then Vanessa is also unaccounted for. The most interesting question is what if any relationship Cassie has to characters other than Gregory. Additionally, if this is an effort to lure Cassie then who benefits from her being caught. A second question is was she someone who also sought refuge in the mall before or during the events of Security Breach. Regardless if Cassie is a Charlie bot, it'll be interesting to know how Steel Wool weaves her into the tapestry.

I've stated on multiple occasions that the Glamrocks deserve a redemption and this might be the best time for it. Free them all from corruption. However it would be a shame if Vanny's not in this. She was hyped up as the big bad in SB, only to be rarely seen and this would be a good opportunity to reimagine her as a legitimate threat to our quest. I definitely enjoyed the alternative perspective on this trailer. However, if the Afton ending isnt canon, then how are Chica, Roxy, AND Monty all Shattered? Also one little mistake in your theory: The Afton ending takes place inder Roxy Raceway, not the whole Pizzaplex! Also this Vanny mask Cassie uses is different from Vanny's in SB AND Help Wanted. SB mask had no tuft of hair, and the Help Wanted mask wasn't digital, and was instead just a makeshift mask

I don't think Roxy repaired herself using freddy's head because 1. It would conflict with the idea you talked about how it was intentional to only show Freddy's body in the trailer to imply the game occours during the ending where we save Freddy's head, and 2. Because we see Freddy's endo during the repair minigame and it doesn't look like Roxy's new face, not even if we remove his eyes I'd love if these were just canon redesigns, even if i love the original broken glamrocks. Since this way, each character would have an unique endoeskeleton (as another example we saw Monty's head was basically pure endo ), which would give more significance to the concept of the Mimic, since their purpose was precisely to fit into any Animatronic Costume. What use would there be for an animatronc with that ability of any character could fit in any costume?

I've commented this on dawkos vid but... eclipse obviously seems to have sun and moon active which could mean they'll be fighting over control and be kinda hesitant cause sun doesn't want to harm kids yet moon is hostile and would chase us down, any case I think we'd be travelling between area and restore power while eclipse chases/follows us and once we restore power to an area it would power lights and other things such as the monty ride, after lights on sun would have more control over eclipse and could provide some assistance to cassie

Actually the damage from that fire down there wouldn’t be as extensive It was just destroy the foundations not the entire Pizzaplex itself so I think you were a little wrong about that because basically the same thing has happened with FNAF six because the fire that set off the labyrinth only destroyed the foundations of Freddy Fazbear’s pizza place AKA Fredbears family diner which got it to sink into the ground and from what I can tell through the front windows of the Pizzaplex it’s partially underground so that is why I think the Afton ending is more likely

There is no way the FNaF 6 location fell into a sinkhole, it would have been completely destroyed, especially the basement areas since that would be where the sinkhole would have formed. The place was definitely BUILT in the sinkhole.

I think it’s important to note that the Vanny mask Cassie uses is NOT the one that Vanny actually wears. Vanny’s suit has a very different, felt white mask compared to the rigid, white and brown one seen in VR and the trailer.

I think that Cassie and Roxy might work together a little? It makes sense for why she looked so curious when holding onto Cassie's arm. It makes sense for the green nailpolish and sneakers that Cassie wears. She's a Roxanne Wolf fan. Maybe she's afraid of Monty..? Just a guess. As for what the mystery glitch thing might be? It's maybe Glitchtrap but perhaps a Glamrock version that was originally another Bonnie endo? Anything is possible with this DLC. I'm very curious to see Eclipse interact with Cassie and how that part plays out. It also makes me curious for the lines that might happen.

I'm severely confused about the endings. The thing I have with the Good Vanny Ending being the canon one, is that we see the lower part of Freddy in the trailer move, which without the head would be kind of doubtable, since he couldn't really move without the head being attached on that part of the game, and only moved when you comitted a mistake to jumpscare you. . . But, it's a possibility still. Quick question, wasn't there a rumored secret ending that wasn't added at the time that SB launched? I swear I heard about it, but nobody spoke word of it after a while. . .

I have a feeling the bad vanny ending could also be a possibility, considering that Freddy’s body moves, which, theoretically couldn't happen if he didn't have a head. Just spit balling here. That ending also leaves Vanny's mask in fazer blast somewhere. While I don't 100% think that's it, it is the only ending that the pizzaplex is confirmed to be shut down. It's also the only ending that we never see Gregory leave. Don't quote me on that.

I think that the "Free Vanessa" ending also gives Gregory probable cause to return to the pizzaplex, to recover Freddy's body and repair it. IF Gregory IS in the ruins of the plex, he likely ended up trapped there while attempting to retrieve what's left of Freddy's body. Vanessa likely didn't want to return but gave him a Vanny mask, which he loses being chased by one of the other animatronics or gives to Cassie, to be able to see in the darkness of the rundown attractions. Another theory is that Gregory is long dead from the original "leave" ending but has possessed Freddy's body, sharing it with him in a dual personality kind of situation. It would also darkly fit the whole "Animatronics are possessed by vengeful kids' spirits" theme that FNAF has had since the very beginning. It would also explain Gregory being trapped as Freddy is clearly in some distress when Cassie finds him. Either that or the DLC will introduce a new ending to the story that will be the definitive canon ending to the original game that leads into Ruin. My hopes are that they're finally going to make good on some of the cut content leftover from Security Breach's files.

I do think its possible we still had the afton ending considering the damage we do see. the old pizzarea was underneath Roxy Raceway, which we dont get to see, but we do see a lot of structural damage to the other areas - theres flooding, which implies the floorlevel has dropped, and places like gator golf have tipped over to the side. if the collapse caused all of roxy raceway to tip into the sinkhole, then the damage to the other areas lines up. dont forget that besides roxy raceway, the rest of the pizzaplex had proper foundations, and the afton ending takes place in an already crumbling cavern. its also easy to forget just how big the pizzaplex is. even if one part of it collapsed fm, say, a blob caused earthquake, its very unlikely to break all of it

you know what it seems like all the FNAF youtubers have forgotten about? the singular section in the dump that seemed like someone was living there. the section with the pink lights, pizza, and chica plushies. while there was different speculations on what it was, ranging from gregory living there to an area where chica hung out, the most prominent one when the game or first ruin poster came out was that it could be a hint towards the dlc. maybe this is indeed an area for cassie, which would explain how she knows the pizzaplex enough to explore the dilapidated sections. also, while glamrock chica is mainly associated with pink, she does have green in her design, even in her palms. while cassie does have the roxy walkie talkie, the green nails could also be a reference to chica if we take that area into consideration.

I think that Cassie could probably be a stand-in for Cassidy, Charlie, or both ! Just like (according to matpat) Gregory could be a stand-in for Evan Afton/the crying child, Vanessa for Elizabeth and Freddy for Michael. I think this DLC could be a nice ending to the afton saga and closing it off with a stand-in for the two most important victims of William Afton would be a smart nod to pizzeria simulator (Afton being tormented in hell by Cassidy who can't let go off the past.

The Ruin DLC poster seems to have thrown a lot of people off since everything is color coded but then had Cassie colored in monochrome/gray. But thing is, we DO have something in the series that is shown as gray: ghosts. The spirits of the dead children that chased Afton into the Spring Bonnie suit were monochrome gray. Add that the space around her (the broken Freddy statue) is golden/yellow in color, it makes sense to me she may be a Cassidy/Charlie repestentation/stand-in in this universe. It's all right there. Basically looks like a next dead child being lured into her tomb (potentially).

Going to take the long odds and say Cassie isn't Cassidy, but MimicTrap is trying to turn her into Cassidy. If MimicTrap can lay Cassidy to rest/trap her by imprinting her onto Cassie/making Cassie into some kind of proxy for her, then that removes the single largest obstacle to it's plans succeeding. Altermatively, some kind of flipping the script, and having trapped Afton in ForeverHell Cassidy is stuck running loops trying to save kids like Gregory.

I think that security breach and future games will have parallels because Gregory is a crying child stand in and Cassie will be a parallel for Cassidy and vanny is Elizabeth so it's going in order of deaths possibly but that leaves charlie being unknown because she dies first... Unless Cassie is Charlie/Cassidy put together. (Cassie might die brutally and then possess an animatronic) And the next game could revolve around Suzie/parallel. The whole parallel theory could be to clean up what we don't know or to answer questions about these children and use the parallel to make conclusions about the past.
