Fun fact: 4-player battles in this game with at least one Puyo Puyo player have reduced garbage being thrown around (garbage rate multiplied by 4/3, so 93 instead of 70, and every Tetris clear gets a -1 except Perfect Clears). This was reverted in Puyo Puyo Tetris 2... except for Swap mode.
