A few things I feel i should point out: At 29:21, the wrong character is attributed because in the Japanese version it's Lemres who speaks there. Chapter 5S (29:56) uses the wrong version of Marle all throughout, since this is from when she possesed people in Primp. I was kinda expecting it to be noticed.

On the matter about Tee remembering some things and the others not, as far as I understand, it's that they forgot about things NOT from their own dimension (so Tee remembers being the Tetris King, but Amitie and Arle can't remember Suzuran). It does not explain why Tee remembers Ex is the Keeper of Dimensions (as well as the former Tetris King, as he says in another cutscene) and the others don't, though... 20:22 Technically there's a moment in Chapter 6 where Schezo accidentally says he's into muscular guys. In fact, you miss it at 28:34.

Say what you want about Squares' name, but he was a good antagonist. He was created by Marle to be an older brother who understands her feelings about Puyo Puyo and Tetris, but Squares took order way too literally, and possessed his younger sister so he can gather energy to fuse the two worlds. Even a beating from the heroes of both worlds and his SISTER couldn't stop him from thinking about his evil plan, and it was only put to an end when Dark Prince gave him an inspirational speech. "There always comes a time when someone appears who seeks absolute control. And it doesn't matter if they're trying to conquer a village or an entire world. It always comes down to the same reason. The selfish heart of a single person. At the end of the day, everything worked out for the better. Keep walking. Keep growing. Give it some time, and you'll figure out your next moves." Maybe it's just me being me, but Squares is probably the way to make a perfect antagonist. He was created by someone who imagines a perfect balance between fun and order, only for him to possess that same someone for his own twisted views on order. Even when he was put to a stop by the heroes of the two worlds, along with Marle, he still didn't want his evil plan to fail. It took Ex, Ecolo, and a inspirational speech from the Dark Prince to stop him.

Honestly, i've been taking a break from Everything Wrong with after Halloween's review of DDLC. You could call me a scrub for not being prepared, but i didn't expect to cry, OK? The game hits the feels hard. Glad i came back for this one
