Yes! A very cool cover. I saw this movie several times as a kid. Me and some friends snuck in to see it at our Mall's movie theater. I then went back to see it again with my cousins and then again with my uncle. I know he doesn't technically take Manhattan but it's still one of my favorite movies of the series.

Friday the 13th Jason takes Manhattan ain’t the best chapter BUT there are several scenes I love about like example, I love how Jason stalking & intimating them on time square, the subways station & the diners which happen to be my favorite parts, overall I enjoyed the trilogy. I absolutely love the original trailer. I watch it more than the movie itself. It makes you believe the entire movie is set there. In fact, the people screaming aren't even in the movie. It feels like a trailer for a total different version of the movie with a different plot, characters and kills. I wished we got that version instead!

This holds a spot higher than others to those who were born in 1978-1980 and raised near NYC. Even though much of it was filmed in Toronto, when not on the doomed voyage, it captures late 80s NYC perfectly. Which was to many a very scary time. It also has the best intro song with Stan Messier, still sounds good to this day.

I enjoy JJ cause her guitar track was pure hair band goodness. The electrical panel throw kill wasn’t bad; the lighting on fire was decent. But other than Times Square, the movie is PAINFULLY Vancouver stock set. And the opening kill is pitiful. But METROPOLIS MAN. Loved their song.

Jason's clothes somehow mended themselves. At the end of #7 his clothes pretty much burned off but at the start of #8 his clothes only have a few rips on them. Oh & the mask??? Destroyed in #7 but got an exact replacement (even w/the axe crack) in #8... 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️
