The last scene of cars 3 is probably the perfect ending. Most people don’t know that they tried many different endings. From things like McQueen winning or Cruz and McQueen racing together but they landed on the last one to show McQueens growth though the movies.

I think the big reason why i consider cars to be my favorite Pixar movie is because of it's simple message: slow down and enjoy all the simple things in life. I find that more easier to understand to a kid than the other messages of the other pixar movies.

4:36 To add onto that, the movie's runtime is only 102 minutes (including credits). Even the first and second movies exceeded it in terms of runtime! So he must really have very little patience if he can't sit through less than 102 minutes.

7:38, also, it’s different from the first film since then he was a hotshot racer who had to learn humility now, he’s a has-been who has to learn to become a mentor to the next generation. (With Cobra Kai, the Star Wars sequels, Indiana Jones 5, some of the modern Marvel movies and maybe Top Gun 2 doing similar things, you honestly can credibly argue that that’s a cliché at this point but it wouldn’t have been when Cars 3 came out.)

1:32, If Cars 2 were filmed as an original movie with zero connection to Cars, then it would have worked better since when you ignore the connection to the first movie, it’s pretty good. It’s when you try to judge it as a sequel to Cars that it ceases to work as well.

Great video on sinning CinemaSins for my favorite Cars movie and I have a couple things to say. 1. I’m glad to hear that you’re one of those people that like Cars 2. I really appreciate that. I initially didn’t like Cars 2 when I first watched it, but after a rewatch, I can say it’s not as bad as I remember. 2. My opinion on Cars 3 is mostly positive, but my only negative opinion was when the first teaser for Cars 3 came out. It left quite a lot of Disney fans devastated. That was until the official trailer came out. I’m glad Disney didn’t take too much of a dark turn for the Cars franchise.

And if there’s one thing I hate about CinemaSins, it’s not them sinning the logos. And it’s not sinning Easter eggs. Those are just minor hates. The one main thing I hate about CinemaSins is them always misusing the term “deus ex machina.” Especially the one you pointed out in your Treasure Planet video.

Pretty good video, and despite growing up with the first Cars movie as my childhood, the third one ended up being my favorite in the franchise. Though I will say that I didn't agree with you removing a sin for Jeremy cursing after the "no cursing" rule, but comedy is subjective, so I'll let that slide. What I won't let you have, however, is the last sin removal because in no moment in the movie did Sally break up with Lightning (which Luke pointed out in his video). One more thing I will say is that even as someone who liked all the Cars movies, I really don't know about a fourth one (especially if it follows the footsteps of Cars 2)...

You know, kind of like the phrase "The next generation iPhone", only here it's with cars instead of phone. 4:25 This movie is only an hour 42 minutes. Movies typically aim for a minimum of 90 minutes, so I would hardly call this movie too long. 4:56 Do you think the phrase "sitting on you @$$", which she is saying without the profanity, actually means sitting? No, it's a phrase used for "doing nothing". 10:30 You can still admire a person's skills even if you think the person themself is a jerk. She even describes what she admired about him in the next Sin, and none of it has to do with his personality, but his skills as a racer. 11:47 You could look at this as her parents telling her to be realistic. How many kids dream about being something like an astronaut, but only very few become one? Case and point, in 2020, over 18,00 applications were submitted to NASA, but only 10 were selected, that's 0.083%. Yes, you should encourage your kids' dreams, but you also have to be realistic and acknowledge that some dreams are extremely unlikely to come true, and most don't, so it would be smarter to settle on something you're more likely to accomplish that can help get you through life. 12:03 And what's wrong with seeking moral support? So recently sony released the trailer for venom the last dance and of course th3birdman ripped sony a new ashole. Me personally i loved the trailer and also i just love venom as a character. My first exposure to spiderman was the 90s cartoon and in the episode that adapts maximum carnage i finally saw venom. And I never considered venom a villain just someone who at first couldn't control his anger but once he reunites with the symbiote he is no longer angry but funny, charming and sympathetic. So when i started watching the sam raimi trilogy and heard that venom was in the 3rd movie i was very excited to see one of my favorite characters come to the big screen. Then i watched the movie and i was so pissed of by how they treated venom that i wouldn't speak about the good things in spiderman 3. And when i saw that vwnom was getting his own movie i was like please sony dont ruin him but when i saw the movie i was happy with this version of the character. Tom Hardy's version of venom felt like the venom i lnew and loved. He was funny goofy and very likeable. And when i saw carnage at the end of the first movie i was like please sony make a sequel to this movie now because i want this version of the character to be more popular than what th3birdman considered terrible. I love him as a content creator but whenever sony shows up he will always just shit on them to the point that i just find his hatred of them disgusting 🤢. But anyway i am very excited to see venom 3

to be honest, here's why I think the cinemasins formula fails, Jeremy grasps at straws to nitpick things in genuinely good movies to the point that he either needs to deceptively create an issue or he's just too stupid to pay attention to a film and review it objectively, perhaps if Jeremy were honest and focused on films of an objective lesser quality, he'd be well liked and credible, this is what selling out does to a person, there's no hint of passion within his videos whatsoever, I don't think there ever was..

I don’t think Jeremy Scott intends these videos as genuine film criticism. I do think he intends them as (mostly) comedy with occasional sincerity spliced in but that he and his writers sometimes foul up when trying to distinguish between those two aspects of it (and it doesn’t help that there are CinemaSins fans who take the channel sincerely seriously despite that not being the channel’s intent.)
