Frozen was fine--Wreck it Ralph was better! But Frozen 2? We only got Frozen 2 because Frozen 1 made so much money. (Sigh.) But I guess we better count the sins in Frozen 2, now that it's a thing.
Remember, no movie is without sin! Which movie's sins should we expose next?!

I don't know, they had good chemistry in the first movie. Feels like they already have been falling apart relationship-wise and that there is potential for dissatisfaction in the next movie as a B plot. He's probably not gay, and the chemistry is more friendship (yes on screen chemistry doesn't always mean romantic interest. There is a problem with that in Hollywood already. Especially between cis males and females. )

Honestly, she is basically a goddess at this point, she controls multiple elements of nature, can create snow, ice, and SENTIENT LIFE from nothing, and can now pull images and audio from decades into the past using nothing but slight moisture left at the scene. She could run a military state where the people would have to worship her as a goddess and no one would be able to do a thing about it if she really wanted to.

I think we can all agree that frozen 2 seemed purely an aesthetic movie. Visuals were gorgeous, songs were great, character designs were put in slot of effort, the rest seems like it has to have a third movie just to make sense. I still feel like the movie is pleasing to watch if you don’t watch it logically and just watch it just to watch it. I still like it and the first one, I like the first one for its story and how iconic it was and the second one I like how it’s so pleasing to the eye and I like how it’s existence gave content creators more inspiration and motivation for their own frozen content. Not that I don’t feel infuriated at all the plot holes, dang it Disney give us an explanation movie or just tell us! Even some animated shorts, just answers! 👏

I feel like Frozen II was one of the only good Disney sequels in a long time. Don't get me wrong it wasn't perfect, the plot was a bit iffy, but I think a lot of people missed the superb character development in this movie. The characters personal problems all stem directly from their characterizations in the first movie. Anna, on top of her extremely isolated childhood, was traumatized by almost losing the only person in her life that she had left, and because of that became extremely dependent on and protective of Elsa, to the point of risking her other relationships. Frozen I basically gave her PTSD. Elsa learned to accept part of herself and let others help her deal with her problems, but the movie never addressed how she felt trapped by her responsibilities. Plus, she basically watched Anna die and blamed herself for it with all that frozen heart stuff. It makes sense that by Frozen II she'd still feel trapped, both by her responsibilities and by Anna's reliance on her, as well as that she'd feel the need to push Anna away when dangerous magic is involved. By the end of Frozen II both of these arcs are tied up into neat little bows through means that make sense. They both essentially learn that they can't just live for each other; they have to live their own lives.

I agree with you there. I love /watching/ the movie, it's beautiful, but I don't love /thinking/ about it. There's so many plot holes, especially ones that completely contradict the first movie/shorts/Jen Lee's comments.

Two of the songs were great, and Elsa got both of them. The soundtrack was not as good as it could have been (they cut a GREAT song 'Get This Right' for Kristoff's lame subplot), and nowhere near as good as the first film. But yeah, it's very aesthetic and this is most evident during Show Yourself--visually stunning but opens up so many plot holes about Elsa's mother and her powers.

Funny thing about that first song. Everything that Anna calls out as "never changing" has changed by the end of the movie... except for Arendelle. This was supposed to be a really fun bit of foreshadowing because in the original script Arendelle was supposed to be destroyed by the dam breaking. This is also why there's a few second shot just focused on the flag; foreshadowing. That script got nixed halfway through production because Disney had just started construction of Arendelle in one of their theme parks and Arendelle being destoryed wouldn't mesh well with that. So now we have a song that doesn't hit anywhere near as hard as it should've because, to no ones surprise, Disney put money over story quality.

Two reasons the Nokk is a horse: 1. The Nokk in Norse mythology is a trickster similar to the Irish kelpie. Both lure people into the water to drown them. Since the Norse heavily influenced Celtic culture, the show creators decided to combine the Nokk and the kelpie. 2. In Greek mythology, horses were created by Poseidon, god of the sea, and were therefore associated with water. Since Frozen 2 uses the four classic Greek elements, it represents the water spirit with a horse.

No one is acting, because it really wasn't. It was boring and incredibly pointless. The issue was literally never brought up again for the rest of the film. I think that's why the water spirit is a horse too. Honestly, the sin should have been more along the lines of questioning why they used Greek influences at all. 1) the movie is set in or around Norway, and 2) if you're going to use Greek mythology, why not relate all of they spirits back to Greek myths?
@josephthurlow7576
@josephthurlow7576 4 жыл бұрын
It's actually because salemanders used to live in logs and then when the logs were burned the flaming salemanders would run out of the log so norse people beleived that those salemanders were fire spirits

About them sharing a room when they were younger: generally in noble/royal households babies and young children would share a "nursery" (think Wendy and her brothers in Peter Pan) this was really useful for the nannies and wetnurses since all the small kids were in one place. When the kids get older they get their own rooms. Hope this helps anyone else who was wondering :)

Also personal rooms are a relatively modern concept. Sleeping was a communal activity. Even those with their own bedroom might have a guest of the same sex assigned to sleep next to them when beds ran short. And the lower classes might pile around the fires ashes in the great hall or kitchen.

She wouldn't drown, because she should already be dead after hitting water from such height. Like very dead. She was falling for 4-5 seconds, so her velocity must have been about 40-50 m/s and 26.8 m/s would be enough to kill you when you hit water

i do agree that Show Yourself is way better than Into the Unknown, but using that in the advertising would’ve been a TERRIBLE idea. Show Yourself is a song near the end of the movie that’s very important to the story and using it in advertising would’ve spoiled the climax of the movie, while Into the Unknown is a catchy song near the start of the movie that doesn’t spoil anything major.

Well technically sin 48 is wrong because there's a type of light called sonoluminesance which is caused by imploding bubbles in water imploding bubbles can be caused by exiting the water with sound or doing things like shooting it like when you shoot ballistics gel you can see a flash of light in slow-motion. The light be it is very dim and a ten thousanth of a second long flash but if enough of these bubbles imploded light emission could be possible. Edit: No one realy understands why this happens but its truly interesting. Edit 2: many of these implosion over time can even chip away at steel so if these reactions were happening enough to cause sustained light everything would probably be voilently exploding and it would be very loud.
