On my Audi also had a coolant leak and therefore no heating. Once I replaced the pipe I had heath inside car no longer any condensation inside the car. As for the seatbelt chime...recently watched a video about Range Rovers and a guy said that there is a way to turn the chime off by some sort of a cheat code designed by the factor. Can't remember what you had to do but it was designed basically with farmers in mind when they jump in and out the car often on their farm and without wearing seatbelts. Not sure if true but worth checking on forums if you'd like to just turn off the seatbelt reminder sound.

Hi - For the windscreen issue - do you have a diesel pre-heater installed? If so - get yourself a fob, get it paired and get the car warmed up and cleared 20 mins before you leave in the morning. It's one of the best forgotten features of the L322. Suspension issue - where it will work when cooled down - sounds like there's a leak and the compressor is working overtime to keep it pumped up - I'd look at the air bags and unions with the hoses - squirt some soapy water and look for bubbles. Overall for £900 you've got an awful lot of car

Unfortunately the rust is not just cosmetic. It started much deeper and spread to where you can now see it. Where the rear subframe meets the body and rear arches, and all along the rear sill behind the plastic will certainly be rotten. This will eventually be an MOT fail and send it to the scrapper. It needs addressing as it looks pretty advanced on this example.
@melvinphillips78613 күн бұрын
The condensation inside is obviously water ingress, check the grommets for the reversing sensors in the boot, it's a rear bumper off job to do it right. Or, it could be the wiring grommet for that hideous tow bar.

I have just finished doing the welding on the rear arches of my L322. As someone has said, what you can see is just the start. Take off the plastic sill covers and the true horror will be revealed! You can buy repair panels for the rear outer arch, sill outer panel and the internal structure at the jacking points. However you will also have to fabricate lots of other bits which have gone inside the sill and on the inner wheel arch. I'm no professional so It's taken me two months of evenings and weekends to finish it. 1500 pounds a side seems about right for a professional to do the job. Great machines, but like all older luxury complex vehicles it's a labour of love if you can't run to the mechanics bills. But honestly they're no worse than any other. Whatever the services history of your L322, it has NOT been looked after very well if you need apiece of wood to hold open the bonnet. Those struts are only 20 quid!! But stick with it if you can....Oh and don't try to jack it up at the jacking points till they're fixed, they will just collapse. Car will stay on the ground and jack will disappear into the sill! Jack it under the chasis rails if you need to get the rear wheels off for any reason
@be144110 күн бұрын
Funnily enough my L332 has incredible service history. Which is a surprise. Also just changed my struts 😂 the wood was getting annoying

When you remove the plastic sill covers to do those rear arches, be prepared to find fresh air where the rear of the sill used to be. Those bubbly rear arches are usually only the tell tale.
@gingafuzz113 күн бұрын
I’ve just finished the video and I have to say (knowing what I now know as a 4.4 TDV8 owner) I think you’ve bought a breaker. I had a coolant leak which I wasn’t too concerned about until I learned that the pipe work which had failed required the revision kit from JLR which was over a £1000 just for the kit! The rear arches are about £1500 per side to get done properly (including new rear sill sections). The suspension fault is a bit of an unknown until you get the codes read…might be an easy fix. That all said, if it’s Youtubing content you’re after, then there’s plenty there. Get the subframes inspected before you throw anything at it. If they’re shot, you’re certainly done for.
@davelock316613 күн бұрын
Money, Money, Money. Even if you fix yourself, you need deep pockets and plenty of patience. There was a video recently where a guy spent over 16K on maintenance and servicing over 3 years.

very little is more expensive than a cheap range rover ,,,, maybe a wooden boat or a bad woman , but its a close race. the arches are only an indicator as to how bad the jacking points will be I repair lots of these ,, and if you cant weld and have a garage and a ramp , it gets expensive ,,, 30 quids worth of tin and plastic clips , and maybe four days labour . be glad you dont have side steps fitted. oops , you do oh dear. rear low is either the valve block module or the x axle control valve , also listen for how long the compressor is running , should only be a min at the most , and the compressor should be nearly silent. coolant could be the plastic pipes going into the thermostat they crack , and or the o rings leak too , but I would be doing the water pump when your in that far , and serpentine belt and check the idlers and tensioner , it can take a while to bleed the cooling system even pressure filling the coolant wont get the air out first time, it can take a couple of days of driving and topping up to get hem to settle ... dont think of it as a car , its a hobby.
