Everything WRONG with my Ghostbusters ECTO-1

I feel like these people miss the fact that there's not just ONE Ectomobile, in the comics it's shown that there's ecto's of different shapes and sizes (for example the Ecto-15 is a modified cab,) and the ghostbusters cartoon and the franchise itself has always shown creativity when designing equipment or making vehicles . P.s: If anyone tells you to not change your car into an Ectomobile, just remember that it's YOUR car and you get to do whatever you want with it, so keep up the good work and have a great day!

I've watched this build since the early days, always had a few thoughts which I kept to myself cos its YOUR build, figure I'd share them here cos they're just dumb thoughts like the kind that pop into your head when you realise you need to buy something from the store; 1) It'd be nice to repaint Ecto-Red. I go on about 'the Ambulance' sure but after the great paintjob you did I'd love to see Red get some stick-o-lip, even if he's gonna be traded off. Dumb fun lil timewaster, I love that old car 2) Mighta been easier to go with an Extreme Ghostbusters build, rarer to see too with that front end. No cutting in the back windows for that but you'd add the fins still. 3) That LS swap was a pretty smart idea, good thinking (I didnt say all my thoughts were bad?) 4) mighta been a bit wiser to wait a white for repainting. I get it, enthusiasm, done that too, repainted an entire engine only to chip it to hell and back when I sent it to the shop to be resleeved. Ah well, we live and learn. Maybe it coulda stayed in its 'i found the car!' look a bit longer 5) Dont get too tied up in screen accuracy this early on. Please dont forget to enjoy it. Drive it around your fields, pedal to the metal, right now its not screen accurate so have fun with the old gal! Appreciate it now before you get too scared to do anything with it once its completed. Seen a lot of car restorers go from having fun to treating cars like they're delicate ornaments. 6) "I wonder if he's gonna add elements from GB 2 to the livery, like the yellow and black stripes or the 'call us!' writing. he's got the right tyres for it with the writing on them 7) How about painting that upper roof front door curve onto the paint to keep the illusion its part of the doors? and 8) I wonder if he's bought those flashing strobe lights that go on Ecto's grill? I saw a few on ebay this morning Phew, thats all of them. sorry if it seemed like an info dump, just sharing cos I'm a big fan of you, and the projects you work on, and dont worry, we pay attention as we follow along too. :)

does the commercial chassis have the same wheelbase between 62 and 59? I know that they share similar dimensions and parts such as the front limo glass, just a question thats been bugging me. Cant wait to see more progress! keep it up! edit: maybe if I had watched 3 minutes in before commenting my question would have been answered 🥲

Kinda, car companies have done this for decades! They make a base car and keep it for 5-10 years, only changing lights bumpers and fenders
