That’s what makes it stand out from so many other action movies, they tried to take themselves too seriously. This one accepted the fact that it’s ridiculous from the beginning and embraced it in a natural and organic way that genuinely worked on-screen.

Fun Fact about all those bee related hexagons in the opening: Bees don’t make hexagons, they only make circles. The hexagon-like pattern is part optical illusion, part science. The shape comes from the fresh wax melting, drying, and shrinking from worker/hive heat. 🐝

Experts disagree on whether bees make hexagonal shaped cells. Most believe that they do because they're efficient, strong and hold more honey than other shapes. More specifically, my suspension of disbelief was pushed the furthest by the fact that the call center seems to be no more than an hour’s drive away. But there’s something to be said for the film likely trying to avoid political or racial commentary by playing in to commonplace and controversial stereotypes. Attempting to paint no nation in a negative light aside from the US itself. Therein is the biggest problem with CinemaSins at its core. It refuses to acknowledge anything except petty criticisms and makes a point of never giving due credit for successes in film. No movie is perfect, but that doesn’t mean there’s not a single good thing to say about it. It’s a dishonest review, a dirt cheap knockoff of cinema commentary and critique. They’re not even presenting a fully developed stance or perspective on a movie, simply listing off stupid, irrelevant, contrived, or things deliberately taken out of context that they choose to take issue with. The comedy pulls itself apart.

I strongly disagree with your statement that this film wants you to take it seriously. I feel like everyone in this film knows how ridiculous it is and are having fun with it.

Its definitely intentionally camp and Im down for it

You’re exactly right. For the sake of content, this channel deliberately takes things out of context and forces opinions that can’t even stand on their own two legs. Which is why this channel fails on every imaginable count of being genuine criticism or valid insight.

Agreed about the card being put on hold LOL! My card was put on hold when a dealership tried to charge $45 from their account that didn't have their name. I was able to call them to reprocess the payment, but suspicious activity definitely has the bank alerting you and stopping payments immediately

The old computers were because the movie was originally going to be set in 2003. It eventually got changed, but they already had some of the sets and props for that time and decided to just use them anyway.

22:00 why was that one of the most believable through away murders i've seen in cinema in a while.

It's close. In reality the victim would just drop as a sack of flower. Also, if he should fall sideways, he wouldn't bother to lift his arms before hitting the couch.

My only complaint about this movie is Jason's character is WAY to overpowered. The Beekeeper steam rolls everyone. The FBI, Secret Service, Navy Seals and Delta Force etc. And he does it with no issue because the movie turns them into chumps

Anyone catch the part where he's going up the stairs in the presidents house taking out security guards and one of the guards basically taps Statham as he walks past? Really looks like he was just telling him his cue to beat him up 😂
@stephen31646 ай бұрын
I noticed that - just sorta taps him on the leg “me next!”. 😂

17:15 Well…1. Countless innocent people get imprisoned regardless of the time it took to get a conviction and 2. Millions of people are sitting in jail for months or years without EVER seeing a trial simply because they cannot afford bail. This wouldn’t be an issue for these scammers so…

@L0ad1ng456 ай бұрын
Agreed. I haven’t watched the video and I don’t plan to, but I have seen the movie. Loved it. There’s no added accent. If the video claims there was, it’s purely imagined out of thin air. Or fabricated misinformation to form a crooked perspective.

Whole movie goes downhill when the lady on the ranch killed herself. Maybe it was a lack of character development, but her committing suicide that quickly seemed super random. Not to say nobody would commit suicide in that situation, but it seemed like a jump.
