SoTyp Me Let's aim Higher: a movie that's just logos. The Disney castle has an arc form around it cast by the light of the Pixar lamp. The noise of the bouncing lamp wakes up the MGM lion, which roars loudly and proudly, scaring the man in the moon into dropping his fishing rod prematurely to start off the Dreamworks logo in the clouds. The camera pans down from the moon past the Warner Bros emblem below it and pulls out to show the paramount mountain with its stars all around. One of these stars shines brighter than any other: it turns out to be a bike light on the front of a flying bicycle being driven by a small boy with an alien in the basket. It rushes past to show the Amblin entertainment logo. Searchlights scan the sky to find the alien, these being controlled from the secret SETI base below the 20th century fox edifice. One illuminates Lucas film but finds no aliens. We pan out further to find the boy and his alien. Out to the entire world, to the universal logo. End credits

The apple dumpling gang . The villain. There's nothing new to distinguish it. I've watched comedic episodes of bonanza and gunsmoke that used this formula first.

The criticism of The Lone Ranger are: • Johnny Depp’s casting as Tonto was very controversial at the time • Its bloated runtime (2 and a half hours of copying Pirates Of The Caribbean and very useless scenes) • It strayed very far to the original source material (straight up disrespectful) • When you think of it, what is the target audience for this? • It was one of the biggest flops of 2013 • It’s a proud “winner” of a Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel

Giuseppe Ianniello Johnny Depp’s casting is still quite controversial (regardless of his marriage and the modern evidence clearing him) as it would’ve been fairer to have an American Indian play the role rather than someone who claims he has some heritage of it. I would say that's unfair. In any good story, physics and rules can bend with the telling of the tale in order for it to be fantastical and fun. If you take out the supernatural elements, it's just another day in the real world, and who wants that? And keep in mind... I really didn't want to defend The 2013 Lone Ranger.
@Jirodyne6 жыл бұрын
@Planet MarsWhat you just said, is what ruins most stories, games, and movies. Because you can't believe in them anymore. The point isn't 'It's all fake, I can't make anything happen. Watch *Lightning strikes and kills the badguy, story over*. The point is to make a believable story. And while 'Luck', or 'Coincidence' can happen at just the right time to start or keep the story going. It should be a very rare thing. The only time 'Supernatural Elements' should be happening, is in Fantasy, Scifi, or supernatural setting. If a story is grounded in reality, like this movie is, it should follow reality's rules. If the Author of the story can't do that, the fault is on the Author, and doesn't change a bad story into a good story. If a story is set in reality, but can't even follow the rules of reality, it fails as a story. "In any good story, physics and rules can bend with the telling of the tale in order for it to be fantastical and fun." This is a fail of story telling to major proportions. Cause while in a cartoon it makes sense, as cartoons aren't grounded in reality most of the time, and meant to entertain children. But in Live Action Movies, and stories based on, you know, the actual story and not visual gags to make people laugh, the story has to be believable. One of the biggest reason this movie fails, is because of how unbelievable it is. There is no tension or worry about the character, if you know they can survive any kinda fall, take any kinda hit, and are always saved by a deus ex. It's a better story to see someone get shot, react realistically and recover and be effected by that shot and still win regardless. Than to see someone get shot, get up and walk it off like nothing happened, and it never effects him beyond knocking him down/out for a bit. Any rule or physics bending should be very rarely used, and very subtle. Cause if not, it just creates a plothole that ruins the story.
@PrivateWillyRichardJohnson6 жыл бұрын
Dont get me wrong I do enjoy movies for what they are. Im just picking fun like cinemasins does.
@Jirodyne6 жыл бұрын
@Triple TriculmiteAnd how far do you want to take that? Just cartoons? How about movies? Video games? Puzzles? the Internet? Stories? How about history books? Lets all laugh at how the Jews were rounded up and murdered by the hundreds of thousands, and it seems so unbelievable because they should have oviously been able to beat up their captives and escape, yeah? If you only ground what you see around you physically in reality, and everything fictionally is ungrounded in reality. Then how do you draw the line? Are the news you're reading ungrounded in reality? What about the newspaper? What about government law books? If you don't ground most things in reality, and just happily shut your brain off for entertainment, what if something happens nearby that is exactly like what you see on TV or in movies? Are you just going to stand there and watch someone mug someone else in the allyway, because it happens just like in the movies, and turns your brain off? "sometimes it's fun to just shut your brain off for a couple hours." It's also found you drink enough alcohol to end up dead, to take hardcore drugs, and to gamble your life away to the mob, or to throw your time away at video games. Just cause it's 'Fun' doesn't instantly mean it's a good thing. I bet a lot of criminals had fun raping and killing their victims too. Use your brain, and think more. Don't just become stupid for entertainment. Consume entertainment that actually makes you think and question things. Most of the greatest movies ever, are the ones that make you think deeper and harder. The greatest mystery films are the ones where YOU can figure out the clues along with the characters and solve the case as well. The greatest horror films are the ones most grounded in reality, where people actually act realistically and do everything the right way, and yet still lose in the end. The greatest comedy movies are the ones where the jokes are well crafted, the situations make sense, and the movie is well design to draw out laughs while making sense. Heck, comedies are the ones you expect to be the most outlandish and cartoon like to get the most laughs. But watch your most favorite comedies. I bet they are more grounded in reality than most action movies you'll watch. Because if it isn't grounded in reality, the jokes won't make as much sense anymore. "suspension of disbelief", aka 'Luck' and 'Coincidence' like I said are meant to be subtle and rarely used things. If you have to suspension of disbelief all the time, or for too long, you get taken out of the movie/show/book. Rocky wouldn't be much of a good movie, if the main character didn't train at all and just went up and one shotted the main enemy in the ring. Or even after training, if he just took the main bad guy out in 1 hit. It wouldn't be realistic. To show a movie series that fails because of "suspension of disbelief", just look at the Matrix. The first movie was the best one, because it was grounded in reality, and was believable. And at the end, when Neo was able to see the code and became a true hacker of 'Reality', he became a god. The movie ended very shortly after that, and that was that. However, they continued the story, and suspension of disbelief kicked in hardcore. Cause now, Neo wasn't a God, even tho he basically had the ability to do whatever he wanted in the Matrix. Whats more, he could even't effect machines outside of the Matrix as well. Whats more, where they had a User log into a system, they had an AI able to log out of the system and become a user who was connecting to the system. Which even suspension of disbelief doesn't cover. Matrix 2 and 3 failed hard as movies, and are liked by no one at all, because of suspension of disbelief. Where you're meant to believe things that just don't make sense at all, all the time, and told repeatedly to suspension of disbelief, even in the 'IRL Reality' parts of the movie. suspension of disbelief is a useful tool to be used sparingly, not a clutch get out of plotholes device. If you have to force your readers/viewers to use suspension of disbelief, it means you failed. Especially if it's to cover up a plothole. such at where in Terminator 2, they destroy Cyberdyne and original arm that created the apocolypse. Only for in Terminator 3, they find something new left behind in Terminator 2, and create a new company, under a new name, that is very simular to the old name, and does the EXACT SAME THING, and created the EXACT SAME FUTURE, with the EXACT SAME EVIL ROBOT AI, that wiped out the world THE EXACT SAME WAY. suspension of disbelief is a tool, use it well, but don't rely on it, or you fail as a writer.

This movie was too long and meandering like some lost river. I've always like Depp and his work, but this time no... he was trying too hard but failed. He (Depp) should do a few straight roles, take a break from the crazy characters he plays so well. :) Love this channel! :)

Well It's a good Idea... Too have a man ot group to nitpick sins or errors in the movie. We'll get great movies. But, You know most of the times the errors are left there by the filmmakers because that makes the movies what It is. (Most of them), think about infinity war... spoiler alert... Don't you think that the maker already know that they can use Dr. Strange's powers in different ways to get the infinity gauntlet away from thanos. They do know... But they wanted to give us a tragic story so they made It happen. Almost every movie have such examples. *SORRY FOR THE BAD ENGLISH*

11:56 So Fuller unlocks the silver cars from the Constitution (Train that is going backwards), which also has the "1st class" cars. Then Latham Cole unlocks the single cargo and passenger cars from the Jupiter (train that is going forwards). Then John Reid unlocks the single cargo car from the passenger cars, so the passenger cars are out of the picture. So all we have is the Constitution with the first class cars, the silver cars, the Jupiter, and the single cargo car. The cargo car with John and Butch collide with the silver since the 2 tracks move back to one track. In the background you can also see the Constitution with the 1st class cars, which is where Fuller is. The cargo with John Reid and Butch end up behind the silver, and once John lassoes himself out of the cargo car, the 1st class cars connected to the Constitution smashes through the cargo car killing both Butch and Fuller. Butch jumps off the cargo car, but gets run-over by the 1st class cars, and Fuller dies by diving off the train going at high speed. So now the silver cars are behind the Jupiter which is where Latham Cole is, and that's when the silver gets attached to the Jupiter. Then Constitution connects to the silver cars, then disconnects from the silver cars by Tonto shooting the pin bolt, after he hops onto the Constitution. Then that is when the "Jupiter" falls off the bridge.
