So many things wrong with the idea of a purge... They don't even begin to get into white collar crimes, like identity theft. If I steal someone's ID, SSN, etc etc and go online and fill out an application for a credit card in their name during the purge, what happens? Is that person required to honor the card, and potentially pay any deposits or cancellation fees if they're accepted? Does the credit card company have to cancel the card? Also, how do you go about proving if a crime was committed during the purge or not? If I stole someone's laptop the day before the purge, all I have to do is say that I stole it during the purge and not before, how are they going to prove me wrong? EDIT: Also, if I go and hack into the DMV and change the info on my car's registration, is that honored after the purge? Like say it expires in December, but I hack and tell the system that my car is registered for another year without paying for it, does the government honor that change?

There are many different types of body armor, but isn't Kevlar or a similar material supposed to be effective against knives AND bullets? I understand that ceramic and/or steel inserts are effective, but there are armors that just protect against and absorb bullet impact almost exclusively.
