Fun fact: the director of the movie was an Italian man and he and his wife wrote the entire script themselves, but they wrote it in really bad English, when the actors saw the script they asked if they could change it slightly so that it made more sense, but the Italian director forbade this and said that the lines have to be spoken as written.

A little hard to read in a paragraph like that but true. But for me it's the acting that stands out. I know the directors were twats and prevented the actors to improvise so the dialogues would feel more natural but I'm pretty sure they would be awful nonetheless.
