Here is what the trailer says in quotes. "Save Anasko." Anasko is the current Va'ruun leader. "Restore the Citadel." Where the Va'ruun High Council resides. "This is The Serpents will." Some mysterious power has arisen in House Va'ruun. The Great Serpent (according to the voice in the video) is aware of this and wants someone (you?) to intervene. "Dazra has fallen." The Capital City of House Va'runn on Va'runn'kai. It has fallen to the mysterious power which is characterized as a cosmic threat by Bethesda. "Take me Home." Not sure what that means. As to the rest. I believe the object the woman is holding up is a groat skull dagger. Andreja gives you one if you marry her. Also. Jarek was the son of Jinan Va'ruun who was the founder of House Va'runn. Jarek was himself leader after Jinan and was succeeded by Anasko who I believe is Jarek's son. The ghostly figures could be Va'ruun clergy who have visions and may speak to The Great Serpent by drinking the sap of the Venom Tree. But that's just speculation on my part.

The ghostly figures might be related to the shroudening or the shrouded. Maybe the great serpent is a cosmic entity that can turn people into energy beings, either related or in parallel to the Unity and Starborn. Starborn join the Unity, they become a part of the Unity and the Unity reflects them as well, maybe the great serpent reflects its promised in a similar way, but is more antagonistic or xenophobic towards those that aren't promised. Or maybe the first person to join the Great Serpent, presumably Jinaan Va'Ruun, was xenophobic and so the Great Serpent was predisposed to be far more xenophobic than the Unity.

I have maintained all along that there is room for multiple factions in the Va'ruun Houses. The interactions with the Ambassador at the Va'ruun Embassy hint at positive relationships and the bad guys are ALWAYS referred to as zealots. I think that this is going to be a story that is a redemption arc for the Va'ruun people and a Hero's Journey for the protagonist (us).

A Recent interview with Todd Howard stated that they understand the concern of this and they will make changes on this going forward. Doesn't mean you won't be paying, but the packaging will probably make more sense and be more fair. Personally, I loved the mission (2 completely different paths to take) and the weapon is incredible. Well worth it in my eyes.

On the topic of being able to take people out in public with the Tracker's Alliance, there is an SSNN story specifically about that sort of thing that has been in the game since the beginning. It was (in part) a call for more regulation of the Tracker's Alliance. I haven't listened to it for a while, but I think the story involved injured bystanders during a public take down.

Since the beginning, if you took the bounty hunter trait, all the security npc's say "Try and keep the collateral damage to a minimum, okay?" after they scan you. At least now belonging to Trackers Alliance you can gun the bounty down if you have to without complications.

I’ve been modding the game since the first week I got the game. At first it was all manual, then Vortex and finally Mod Organizer 2 came out with a beta version for Starfield. Took the last 6 months off to allow the game to get some updates and upgrades under its belt and wow has it come a long ways in 6 months. Just finished a new mod list with over 270 mods and it looks stunning. I’ve kept up with your channel to let me know how things were progressing and was very helpful. Adding another note lol : The skull looked to be what you get from Andreja as a special gift when you marry her. The story she tells is they raise the animal until they reach a certain age then they kill the animal and use a part of it to craft their representation to the Serpent God.

People are expecting tons of content from Creations in the future, so the Vulture mission is a drop in the bucket. Albeit, a relatively expensive one. I think there are definitely some microtransaction-shaped holes in the game for players who think about their games critically. And when you realize that this is how Bethesda is setting the tone for what's to come... yeah, ppl are a little uncomfortable.

not really. paid its the nicest implementation done in the whole industry. i agree the price for one quest is steep, but compared to the industry, its not. but modders actually fully own the mods they make, even when they sell it, at their store. and bethesda allows for free versions of the paid mods IN their own store. you will not find something similar in any AAA studio. also the day they block free mods is the day you should worry, but everyone knows that would be bethesda cutting off their own legs now i think they should price em with a modlist in mind, not as a single mod

Also npc bounties you find with the scanner aren’t just found in major cities. I came across a wanted npc at some civilian encampment on Eridani II

I think they should have packaged the extra quests instead of sellin it individually. better optics tbh. I think selling it individually is just bad marketing because the talk becomes paid for each quest instead of a paid dlc which is "more acceptable". $7 is probably too much for 1 quest

Bethesda said that we will be getting *a whole new planet*, so likely not a new system, and that gas giant we see in the trailer is very similar to Kazarah in the Nirah system, which is a system full of Va'ruun and also has the moon Ka'zaal, which could be the other moon seen in the trailer.

People who are taking about it being too much money are not really looking at it from a cost-value point of view. They are trying to make a stance against this becoming the norm. Vote with your wallet kind of thing. The problem is... It's kind of too late. This IS the norm. Look at COD, and even other single player games (Assassins Creed) that sell skins (keep in mind this is A MISSION, WEAPONS, and cosmetic clothes, not just a skin). I wanna say it can't be changed, but these guys voicing their opinions ARE making changes (Todd Howard said he heard the cries and they are looking to change the way these are packaged, though you will still have to pay), even though I don't necessarily share those opinions. We shouldn't act like we are against each other though.

I feel what happened is that they did make a GREAT game. Then bits and pieces were taken out to have a good game, this is obvious by some items/signs/npcs that are still in the base game. It seems pretty likely they will be added later at an extra cost. Originally it was claimed this was done to because the game was too hard but $$ may have been as much of a determining factor.

It's the same with every Bethesda game i've played, & i don't say that negatively. Making games is a creative process but there's also a bottom line. Therefore there will always be cut content, & naturally a lot of it will appear in dlc. The monetization aspect is what it is, but it's also totally optional.
