i need help... want to set up a relatively high end 4k HDR projector home theater system.. the distance between the walls in the lounge is 17 feet... which projector and screen would you recommend+ media player (i will use this projector for gaming, movies, tv shows, everyday tv use)

Sony vw385es. If that's too expensive then the Sony vw285es. I would recommend either the nvidia shield pro or Apple tv.

Majestechs planning on getting the LG HU80KA ( thoughts ?) which can pair with sound bars via Bluetooth- would you recommend a sound bar or a surround sound system ? And what size screen would you recommend ? The distance from wall to wall in my lounge is 17.9 feet I’m confused between 120, 135, and 150 inches framed screen

BEWARE!!! 95% of sellers are advertising v2.0 HDMI cables and only selling v1.4 Cables!! They are both "High Speed" cables, but the v1.4 is only capable of speeds up to 10.2Gbps, whereas the v2.0 is capable of speeds up to 18Gbps!! Even the Amazon Basics v2.0 HDMI cables are being wrongly advertised.... I literally couldn't believe my eyes because a large company like Amazon should really get it's facts right!!!

KnuKonceptz is a reputable brand. Would this HDMI cable be true v2.0? www.knukonceptz.com/home-theater/dvi-hdmi-cables/sp/krystal-hdmi-20-certified-high-speed-hdmi-cable-with-ethernet-2-feet/

@@ArnoldGaming Hi, these cables seem a bit dodgy to be honest. The seller is first saying these cables are HDMI 2.0 compliant and is also saying they perform to 18Gbps speeds, but then lower down they are also saying the quality of the picture possible does not meet HDMI 2.0 18Gbps standards..... so it's unclear whether the seller of these cables just does not understand their own product... in which case I would avoid buying from them, or perhaps they are mis selling lower performance cables disguised as higher performance cables... in which case I would also avoid. Also this website they are selling on clearly says it is "Not Secure".... ok I would avoid buying these.

@@hdmi4khdr60hz4 Hmm that may be possible. But since I am in car audio knukonceptz is a reputable brand as they sell high quality RCA cables and speaker wire cables that are copper OFC but yea the HDMI seems a bit sketchy

I never like or subscribe to videos, they never seem concise enough to warrant it. You speak clearly, not too fast or slow, use appropriate imagery to describe everything well and are friendly in your demeanor which makes the confusion less daunting all without being needlessly comedic as other content creators try to do. All top info, no waffle and well packaged. Definitely warrants a like and subscribe. I look forward to watching your other content as this has really helped me in a few short minutes. Well done.

@ 3:08, I learned this the hard way. In October, I bought my first 4K TV, which is a TCL 55p605 Of course, it has HDR. I bought some, cheap, WalMart-exclusive HDMI cables, called Blackweb. They were, like $12+. They WERE high-speed, 2.0 4K cables. Everything was fine, watching 4K content, UNTIL I bought an actual 4K Blu Ray player. The display showed good, but very dim. Also, when playing my PS4 Pro in HDR, the picture was bright, but the quality seemed, slightly grainy. I was puzzled. One day, I was searching on Best Buy's website, just browsing 4K movies. I saw some HDMI cables by Audioquest. I saw the cables were high in price. However, I saw on the top of the cable, 4+HDR. Saw many great ratings. I decided to buy one. I used it, when watching my 4K Blu-Ray player and noticed the display, was much brighter, clearer and had better sound. That made me realize, if you have a 4K TV with HDR, which many do not, you must have a 4K cable that SUPPORTS HDR.

I first learned about HDCP when I bought a projector and the HD-DVD add on for the Xbox 360. My first projector was an older Dell, and I had to buy a DVI to HDMI adapter, which was not compatible with playing HD-DVD's due to HDCP. I had to use component cables, which had no dependency on HDCP, to watch 1080P movies on my 360.

Well done Mr. Majestic, thank you. My only add is the fact some of the older 4K capable TV's may have a HDCP 2.2 input but it is not labeled. For my Samsung it was HDMI IN 3 (MHL). The others, HDMI IN 1 (STB), HDMI IN 2 (DVI), and HDMI 4 (ARC) were incompatible. This fact was hidden deep in the Owners Manual.

I also love your recommendations on complete system setups at different price points. My dream system would be a professionally done (by you) TV room - unlimited budget. My more realistic dream system (and wife 𝘼𝙥𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙙) would be a 65-75in 4K TV that supports all the latest tech and variations (ARC, Atmos, Dolby X, HDPC2, etc..), outstanding audio with ceiling mounted speakers and something to tie everything together to make it easy to use everyday by everybody......I watching all your videos for that expert advice and education.

Things like these are so complex now a days so I just learn to just watch and play games at the best of my knowledge, plug and play. If it's 4k HDR then that's what it is to me, as long as it looks good in my eyes I'm satisfied. What is this world coming to if u have to by special HDMI cables just to watch and play your games properly

Excellent information. Sounds like I need to stay away from 4k for a long time on projectors. From what I can tell, the 3D compatibles for a good price are mainly 1080p which is good enough for HD. And with the way you need compatible format or you might just end up with blank screen. Not worth the 4k experience. Until it is the NORM, no reason to 4k it. Thanks.

I'm on the 10 year cycle. I'm fortunate I waited long enough to buy a 4k tv with HDR 10+. If I waited a little longer, I could probably get one with Dolby Vision HDR and ATSC 3.0 compatible. But these tech companies know how to play the game better than we do. At this point, I would say a 20 year cycle is best for buying new tv's in this new age.

Geez-us!! I just bought a SONY XBR-A9G 65' HDR TV and I love this BEAST!! I watched some 8K and some 16K on KZbin and it does a great job doing it's best to "Upscale" above and beyond the 4K. I don't know how close it get's but no matter what I am watching on this SONY it does impress. So I do have a question to you Chris..... I don't have the fastest speed for internet like other people do at 1Gbps or more. I just did a Speed Test and it is coming in at at 487.89Mbps download and upload is 23.61Mbps. I had to return my Google Wi-Fi Mesh because one of them was defective and Google was just going to send me a new one but they said that the all the numbers on the back "Does Not Exist" in our system which is B.S. because I bought the 3 Mesh system from Amazon and it was not a 3rd party. I've had it and Amazon being Amazon, they gave me a refund after 9 months of it working perfectly. I am going to try to get a Wi-Fi Range Extender for the Netgear Nighthawk AC1900. Sorry I didn't even ask my question(s). What HDMI should I use for this $4,000 TV?? I see that many people say that a $20 dollar one is just as good as a $279.00 gold plated crap and a lot of people just return their products after they see no difference then the ones that internet provider like Time Warner Cable/Spectrum or AT&T gives them during set up. I have very short cords and I believe they are 4 ft and 6ft is the longest cords I have in the house. Should I spend more money and get a better one?? Everything does look crystal clear on this particular TV set no doubt but how could it get any better?? LOL. My other question if you know this because this OLED is freaking me out and here's why. I live in California and we have fires every single year like clock work and Santa Ana winds which makes for our homes to be dust magnets. What do you suggest I clean the OLED TV with? What cloth? What spray? I for example clean my iPhone, iPad, iMac, Note 8, Note 10+ all with a soft cloth and rubbing alcohol because it gets finger prints on it on a consistent basis but the OLED is like I should just clean it with AIR. I don't want to even touch the thing because it's actually thinner than any of my phones and I don't want to break it even though someone at Best Buy told me these SONY are not as weak as people make it out to be because they have been around for a long time and that SONY buys their OLED screens from LG and then just put in their top notch chips and technology inside the unit, but to me the screen still is something that concerns me. I thought about what you said about 4K, a Blu-Ray player and I only have a Blu-Ray player and I have not bought any 4K UHD Blu-Ray player as of yet. So Chis, do you recommend a SONY, LG or Samsung 4K UHD player?? I am asking because you absolutely know what you are talking about and I wanted to make sure I do what you recommend as you seem like to know more than most people out there. Thank you in advance and I apologize for the very long post.

Hi. So I just bought a 7 series Samsung tv with an xbox one x and for some reason when I view 4k movies it just doesn't look right. Like the contrast doesn't seem bright. Bluray looks a lot brighter. I have all my settings on, on the tv and xbox
