Did you all know that Jacqueline" Jackie" Bouvier Kennedy choose an afro american stylist for designing her weeding dress instead of the French House of Chanel which she was the muse.

Unfortunately she never received credit for it while she was alive. She wasn’t allowed to put her name on clothing labels, and Jackie never mentioned her name when saying who designed the dress, she just said “I wanted to go to France, but a colored dressmaker did it.” Wish Ann Lowe would have received the praise for her beautiful designs when she was alive, but unfortunately she didn’t because she was Black

Half of the time I have no idea what the MET Gala theme is until I see the celebrities, even then it's hard to understand, because let's face it, not all of them follow the theme, and they all have different interpretations of the theme. This was very educative and informative for the people who are not very well-versed in fashion like me!
