A few minutes ago I knew ZERO about bath bombs - now I know quite a bit more! lol. This is exactly the video I was looking for. (Love your accent.) You got a new sub when you showed the data collection and research. Thank you so much for this. My weather is similarly humid so that advice was especially appreciated. Do you, by any chance, teach how to make youtube videos? So much of what really bugs me was not in your video. Can't do a tl;dr on your video because it was all necessary, not to mention clean, clear, and well organized. And it wasn't at all "long". Just one man's opinion - it was fairly perfect. Thanks!

Hi!! I happened upon your videos one day months ago while searching for how to make swirled lollipops. I was amazed and angry cause I watched it and kept saying “people EAT this stuff in suckers?” not realizing I was watching your lollipop bath video.😂😂😂😂 Every time I look for something tho, your videos pop up so I said “self, check her out.” You are a very nice and sweet person. (I’m from Opelousas but I live in Kentucky so I get it now. 😉) You videos are soooo informative and make me feel like I can conquer the bath world with my imagination. I have a lot of questions but I’ll take them step by step as I come up on complications. I just want you to know that you are great at what you do, to thank you for sharing with us, to tell you we all appreciate your kindness and selflessness (cause you don’t have to share anything with us), and to say you have a new follower for about a month now and I consider you family. Every time I get ready to practice with anything I always say now “what would my good cousin Dora do now?” 😘 P.S. What is cocoa betaine? What does it do?Do I have to use it in bath bombs?🤔
@CreativeBathLab3 жыл бұрын
Wow, what a lovely compliment! Thanks so much! coco betaine is a mild surfactant & a foam booster. I use it to slow the vigor of the bath bomb... If you don't have something to buffer the bath bomb's reactions (like coco betaine), it'll fizz & bubble so quickly that it lasts maybe 1 minute. No, it is not necessary in bath bombs. I just like it because it gives me the results that I am looking for.

Great great videos 💜, can really see your passion & knowledge into bath bombs. I have a question for you, I've noticed you use coco betaine sometimes and was curious for how come ? Guessing some formulas require/do better with it than others, but figured I'd ask. My other question for you--do you use SLSA & Sodium alginate often for the core & outer skin of bath bombs, or just for some in particular? Thank you and keep up the great work 😊
@CreativeBathLab3 жыл бұрын

I really enjoy watching your videos. You are very talented. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge and talent with these videos. I am just starting out with bath bombs and wondering after you make your bombs, how/where do you let them sit while drying? Do you have a mold tray or something to let them dry? I imagine you can't let them sit on flat oan etc or the bottom would flatten. If you use tray or such where can I purchase it? Also, I am in Texas by the gulf, it' ALWAYS humid just like in Louisiana as you know. I purchased a dehumidifier but 50% humidity seriously... how do you ever get that much work done??!! Thank you so much!
@CreativeBathLab2 жыл бұрын
I have little holder molds (cheap little tin molds that are useless for molding so I use them to hold the drying bombs) although I have just let them set out on the counter & they've been fine. I just leave them in the room overnight in the holder molds. Yeah its best to make bombs under 40% humidity but honestly, I make them ANYWAYS. As you said, its humid & the ONLY time I get 40-50% is in the dead of winter.

Thanks! Yes, use my simple recipe, if it’s still dry you can add whichever liquid. Just know that adding witch Hazel & alcohol will fix it for a bit but then the mix gets even drier. I’d suggest using POLYSORBATE 80 or carrier oil

Will be my first time making bath bombs and this video was very helpful. Can I add some sweet almond oil or any other oil like vitamin E to it as well? Also how about dry rose petals? Thank you so much for all the information 😊

You're very welcome! ABSOLUTELY! Add all of that & more!
