Awesome video! I love making stencils on my Maker. An easy way to get rid of the design in the outer margin, rather than making a shape and welding it, is to just use Contour and get rid of them! I also always use my deep cut blade for stencils. It cuts perfectly the first time 99% of the time. Also my absolute favorite substrate for stencils is Grafix craft plastic. The same that is being suggested for alcohol inks recently. I have been using the grafix craft plastic for stencils for years. Also, Yupo paper works beautifully for stencils. So it’s a good two for one deal for card makers.

Yes, that's certainly an easy way! Where's my head at sometimes! lmao 🤣😁 I too have the Grafix and have used it. That's a great suggestion Cindi!

I like leaving more of a border around my stencil so I can use that space to tape it down to my project and not cover any of the stencil.. instead of using "slice" in design space I'm using "subtract" and you don't have those extra pieces you aren't using to delete.

I'm just learning how to make stencils - one question I do have can you take a digital paper that you love the design on and take that design and turn it into a stencil? And this is not stencil related - but do you need to clean your scrubbie cleaner and how would one clean the wet side. Love you tutorial videos.
