i get the parallels between shigaraki and nine 1- they both have deadly mutation quirks and somehow survived. 2- nine is kinda looks like the liberated shigaraki 3- they both wants power to destroy everything to create the world that they desire 4- both care about their comprades and both of them think that these people deserved better 5- now their difference is Clear. They both care about different kind of people. Nine thinks people who have strong quirks are the ones who deserved better. Shigaraki doesnt care about power, he thinks outcasts of the society who have nowhere to go deserved better. So nine care about power, shigaraki care about people Nine see himself as an object, shigaraki doesnt/at least probably wont in the future. Cause shigaraki doesnt want to carry burden of the history , he truly wants to be free/heal. And to do that, he needs to see himself as human. ---- Stain s flaw was pride. Overhaul s flaw was he was too full of himself. (Not really sure about redestro s flaw yet). Nine s flaw was he didnt look at people, only look at power and see himself as an object. Thats why shigaraki keeps rising cause he learns from his mistakes and keep getting positive character developments.

Nine and Shigaraki are quite similar but different in some ways. And try finding out Nine Spin-off Mangá that shows more about Nine and his time Backstory than the Movie. In the movie they didn't development them at all because they focus more on the Students. Both Nine and Shigaraki want to dominate and Destroy society. Both Nine and Shigaraki have a team of peoples they Trust. Both pass through the same scientific procedure to enhance their body and Receive the Original or a version of All For One quirk. Both Nine and Shigaraki had a Dark and suffering backstory. But here are the differences: Both characters had a painful past, something in common in these two, but Nine was the one who suffered the most. Tomura even having his problems with his father he still had the family to support him, Nine according to the Spin-off Manga did not have this because he was rejected by society in his childhood as he has always been repeating, this rejection ended up making the boy develop a well thought and ideology dangerous later. Tomura ended up killing his own family, but with time after being adopted by All For One and living a good life he ended up forgetting about the family he had. Nine on the other hand did not forget anything about her childhood and life, as he literally lived it suffering every single day, with a pain throughout his body due to the illness that was killing the cells in his body. In the end who suffered the most was Nine, because he was disowned, abandoned by society, suffered and continued to suffer all his life not only because of the disease that killed the cells but also because he did not feel included in a society. Tomura ended up forgetting everything that had happened to him and his family and he would only come to remember moments and years ahead. Before and after killing the family, Tomura had a family and a good life and people to help and support him in difficult times, these being his family members and All For One through out the rest of his life. Nine is badass, Op, is interesting, doesn't have childish behavior like tomura, he respects strong Peoples even if they are his enemies and when strong ones oppose him he tries to kill them before become to much difficult. And all his teammates like him a lot and do go out raging against each other like tomura did by almost killing Toga and Dabi and making All For One go to prison. Nine by other hand have a big sense of leadership and can be a pretty big leader. Nine have a thought about how society should be structured the same as Geten thinks.

​@@magalivega8790We can only assume that he was orchastrized since A: people may have believed his Weather Manipulation ability was going against nature itself and Nine was thus shunned by society around him as something that is unnatural and shouldn't exist, and B: his disease made him a target for people making fun of him for having a great Quirk but physically being unable to use it for long. We can only assume that Nine wanted to be a Hero at some point before these unlucky circumstances destroyed that dream and he became a social darwinist as a result. He most likely thought something like "If all you people value is who is the strongest, then I will create a world where only those who prove themselves as such may survive" as a giant "Fuck you!" to all that these people did to him. But since all this is speculation and not confirmed, we have no idea why he thinks the way he does, although I will say that I hope my speculation makes some degree of sense...

Nine controls the sky, and has white, with a barely there light blue tint? Who else do we know with light blue hair and a quirk that is sky related? Shirakumo, quirk: Cloud. I think they are related somehow, which makes it poetic that Ujiko experimented on them both.
