Probly an unpopular opinion but I actually really like this. It reminds me of how the opening of Unity made me feel, where you were actually in the animus and there were all these options of memories to choose from. Felt like you were part of the lore. Now, obviously you couldnt actually choose, you were stuck with that medieval one or whatever, but the possibilities seemed exciting, and I think this is a cool and similar vision for the series going forward.

I also really like the Hub, and how they‘re trying to tie the „new age / post-Desmond“ AC games together into a coherent modern day story. But why does a single-player game need a battle pass?? I mean sure, give out dailies and weeklies for people that play the game alot, I don‘t mind. But having a battle pass in a single player story-driven game is just… so off-putting. It‘s completely immersion breaking!

Nope even better you start a game launcher for games in another game launcher exept they Change the older ones from Uplay completly to this shit Hub, in a game launcher if you play them over Steam to start an older Titel. Have fun to keep them even all installed so that it can work as it should be. The OG PS5 has only roughly 670 GB Space available. With Addons is no Chance in the World that they all fit on the factory installed SSD Origins and Odyssey where both at around 110 GB each, Valhalla close to 300 GB and Mirage is roughly another 50 GB with all patchs. There is no way that Shadows needs less than 100 GB with addons

Not gonna lie. I have been so conflicted about this game since the initial reveal. At first I was like "oh cool a great setting! I can't wait to jump in!" Cut to the dumpster fire of all the reveals and controversies. Then I was less excited but was hopeful due to the new stealth mechanics. Then I became basically hopless and stopped caring about it. However, after seeing all the recent gameplay reveals the excitement is coming back and I am now invested again. Still hesitant but I am actually anticipating the release but will wait until I see the game post release before pulling the trigger.

@@BernardoPC117 I don't. I like plenty of games that are "terrible" I was put off more by the gameplay. It seemed like they were leaning so heavily towards yasuke. Yeah the DEI crap is getting old and super annoying but I mostly don't like the fact it's built on the same engine as Valhalla which has THE WORST "parkour" system in the series. Mirage kinda improved a little but it was heavily held back by the engine. Like it looks fluid to watch but feels very stiff when actually playing. However, after the recent Naoe clips they've been showing it actually looks kinda good. I won't know for sure until I get my hands on it though.

@JorRaptor i know you said you're gonna make a more in-depth video later on upgrading gear..but could you go over your first thoughts on the per cost /upgrade on your resources..one of the things i hated the most on odessy was how expensive it was to upgrade gear...it was almost better to wait till you got to max lvl to get some of them because of how expensive it was(especially at launch). I just hope this one is easier on the grind for things like "wood" and "metal"

HERE IS HOW YOU FIX EVERYTHING 1) the Assassin can represent active stealth, fast parcore, assassination and gadgets 2) the historical worrier (in this case the samurai) can represent social stealth, he can blend in with crowds, he’s someone who’s supposed to be there, supposed to have weapons and he also has more of a combat focus when he fights, maybe he has more social stealth gadgets like poison blade or coin pouch, and he should have the bird, I still think he should have some parcore but if he’s spotted on a roof he agros instantly wear as he has a bigger detection meter when crowd blending and vice versa for naoue. This is a much more fair distribution of AC features then just a stealth combat guy and a just combat guy They’ve missed the boat here so what about Hexe? Same premise, let’s say the witch protagonist is the more assassiny character, probably not gonna do social stealth if your a persecuted woman so she plays like naoui. And the male protagonist can be a plague doctor, inconspicuous, era appropriate, cool design and he can do the social stealthing and combat

Ubisoft has completely lost the plot that made these games great…NARRATIVE. No modern day basically puts us into a game with zero direction. Why are we here? What is abstergos main goal? How do we stop them? What is the point of being in the animus and reading these memories? All of this should be part of the modern day. It’s gotten so convoluted and lost in the woods that I don’t think it can ever come back without a total reboot

i like the fact that i can play what i want and gather credits, and then spend them werever i want. if i play shadows but dont like the cosmetics, i can go and buy hexes cosmitics since its the same coin. not like odyssey and valhalla were you bought the helix credits on odyssey and when you start valhalla you start from zero because they are tied to the game and not tied to your ubi connect acount. it woulr be bether to just have them for free, or at events. i also hope legacy quests or rewards for playing the diferent games, like complete valhalla and get eivors outfit for all the other games. i just hope we also get daily and weekly quests to give us credits, not just exp. or there are ways to gain credits in game and farm them. like the mercenaries and ships on odyssey. because i like when its possible to actually buy the things you like with the credits. weekly ronin/ guardians to fight, weekly infiltration replays, weekly comunity goals, lots of ways to get more credits and be able to buy at least 2 or 3 of the weekly items per week also dont want to give them any ideas, but what about a monthlly item/set on the store that unlocks when you buy 6 of the items that were for sale that month.

I want more details on the canon mode. Like will it also force you to play as the canon character of each mission? I hope they give more details before launch. I just want a mode that removes dialogue choices in the narrative but i still would rather play as Naoe for most of the game.

There's just no point to this, who REALLY has more than 1 of the NEW AC games installed at once? Especially when most of them are over 100gb each. This is just a launcher with a few minor things added and will just add to the time it takes to launch the game, especially if you play on PC and bought on Steam which means your PC will have to open 3 separate programs just to play lol. I also really hope they are not just making the modern day storyline a bunch of logs and videos because that's what it sounds like......I mean seriously why can't they just keep a constant modern day storyline like the Ezio trilogy? They keep trying to reinvent it every game and it always falls flat.

This is an in-game game launcher that adds no value. It reshuffles things that already exist, and at best could be called a UI update that they originally planned, ditched, and then came back to when the Ubisoft Connect things didn't quite work out the way they foresaw. Deleting my original comment doesn't change that, but I can see where folks don't want it called out that Jor is the only person excited over this (the UI, not the game... game looks worth being a bit excited for), despite most other content creators not even mentioning it. Personally, I actually want to know what he sees that gets him excited about this.

@ I enjoyed some parts of Valhalla like the combat, it felt like a worse Odyssey. The story’s pretty forgettable. Maybe I’m just a sucker for a good sibling vs sibling story, but I barely remember anything about Valhalla aside from the Native American sort, very beginning, and the very end. The scenery isn’t as nice as well. Odyssey’s a 6-7 year old game and is much more beautiful than Valhalla. Like I said though, the combat did feel a lot better, and I appreciate bringing back the insta kill stealth.

@ Odyssey certainly has its weaknesses that I won’t deny. The open world felt empty and boring for one thing. However, I’ve played Odyssey on Xbox and PC and never had a crash. Valhalla crashed 3 times, which was another strike against it, but that’s a more personal gripe than valid criticism.

Can I ask did they comment on Legendary world enemies as in Assasins Creed Odessy and Origins like Dragon's or other Japanese Mythical creatures?. Also any news on co-op play online or split screen couch Offline?
