Hi Garrett & everyone else here, I have a question that I'm hoping someone can answer. How do you flip the screen on the Vaxis Atom A5? I'm using it on my gimbal, and it's best for me when it's underslung. I've read multiple places online (including Vaxis website) that this unit has screen-flip capabilities (which is one of the reasons I chose it), though I cannot find anywhere how to do it. This is a great video that helped me make the decision of which wireless system to buy for my gimbal. Other than flipping the screen, I'm really happy with it.

Hi, does this monitor have a built in fan? Seems a transmitter/monitor combo would develope a lot of heat. Thanks

I bought a pair. It does has fan, but I noticed something funny. The RX fan kicks in sometimes, but TX fan is never activated during my usage. I dunno if that’s by design. If it is, it is a very thoughtful design❤

Another awesome video and an interesting product but the 149ms of latency absolutely kills it for any kind of focus pulling. As an AC even the 68ms latency of the more recent Hollyland products makes it a no go for focus pulling or remote operating. Director’s monitor or client feed could be totally okay though. Decent enough budget option. A little bit sad they also don’t have SDI on here but I understand have to make cost savings somewhere

Hey Garrett, I bought the A5, and after using if a couple of times with no issue, when turning it on, it freezes on the opening screen. Nothing I have tried seems to fix the issue, and I can't turn it off afterwards, instead I need to pull out the batteries. This means updating the firmware is now impossible. At the moment it's a very expensive brick. What should I do? Thanks.

It can monitor recording, temporarily can not trigger the camera recording, after the development of this feature🤟

How is software for the wireless devices : phones and tablets

It’s fairly basic, but has great low-latency which is nice. Not a ton of monitoring tools, but perfect for directors viewing.
