Utrogestan is a natural HRT called micronised progesterone and is suitable for menopausal women who haven’t had a hysterectomy (womb removed). If you’ve had a hysterectomy, you only need to take oestrogen HRT. Utrogestan is usually taken to increase hormone levels of progesterone, which have decreased over time to help manage menopausal symptoms.
