@@versewriter8123 yes 👍. If you are looking to support cardiovascular health and improve exercise performance, magnesium taurate may be the best choice for you. If you are looking to promote relaxation, improve sleep quality, and reduce symptoms of anxiety and stress, magnesium glycinate may be the best choice for you. And don't forget Diet and lifestyle is very important too ..

I am a vegan and I was concerned about my gums and plaque on my teeth based on my dentist’s comments to me about my gum health. I learned K2 is important for gum tissue health and so I looked for a plant based source. Natto was the only real option for K2 so I tried it. It was very weird to me but I was motivated so I stuck with it for 10 days and now I actually like it. My gums are now much better and I think K2 is helping me in terms of my arterial health and bone health. I highly recommend people eat natto. I am studying to be an RD and in my college level introductory nutrition class there was no mention of K2 at all. Just K1 which is very different so the information in this video is really excellent as it is providing the public with information only advanced college courses provide. Please get K2 in your diet as I want everyone to have better health.

You are correct about Natto and Vitamin K2, it is the richest food source for vitamin K2. Did you also know that it contains an enzyme called Nattokynase? This enzyme helps your vascular and cardiac health in several ways. I suggest to you search it. You will be pleasantly surprised

I supplement plenty, starting 2 years ago. I was 72 and fat and high Bp and pre type 2 diabetes. I could hardly get out of a chair and wobbled and grunted as i tried to walk. The diabetes scared me into action. (I gave up sugar to save my feet) simplistic i know. Well in 3 months i lost maybe 20 lbs. And my blood test was perfect. Well i stuck to it added K2 when i started see articles about that, i had hard cups in my nose where my glasses sat for years. Well 60 lbs gone, Bp normal, sugar fine but my eyesight has improved oh and the pockets in my nose are dissolving. I don't know what is the most beneficial thing is but i like supplements better then medicine. Just heard you say bone density and i have had increased bone density and the Dr. At the VA said a person your age doesn't get better density. I should be a test subject. I must go ride my Electric unicycle now, follow the fun.

@sheilasmith1109
@sheilasmith1109 3 жыл бұрын
@@peggybock7438 Hi Peggy! I recommend a full spectrum supplement called “Bio ADEK Mulsion.” This way, EVERYTHING you need for D reasons is in easy drop form! No pills plus it’s emulsified and that is superior method for fat soluble vitamin absorption! Bio-ADEK-Mulsion® supplies vitamins A, D3, E, and K (K2 and K1 in a 1:1 ratio) in an emulsified form, to assist with uptake and assimilation. Each serving of Bio-ADEK-Mulsion® supplies 375 mcg RAE (1,250 IU) of vitamin A, 25 mcg (1,000 IU) of vitamin D3, 20 mg (30 IU) of vitamin E, and 100 mcg of vitamin K (as K2 and K1 in a 1:1 ratio). If you already have a D supplement, AND have had your D level tested and know your number, I would be happy to tell you exactly how much D to take and approximately how long it will take you to reach your goal! I personally vote for 80! Up to 100 is great if you can get there! Extremely ill people report that once their D levels are in the Optimal range, they feel Fantastic!!

I just had an arterial calcium score test (insurance usually doesn't cover it but it's only $105 and it's a simple CT scan). Anyway at age 70 I had zero calcium in me, and 30 yrs ago I had "mild." I've done intermittent fasting and very low carb for 6 yrs plus K2 kind of off and on but on a regular basis the last 7 months. I believe that people should get this score to see how at risk they are for heart disease. My dr. still told me I should go on a statin even though all my other markers were excellent, including homocysteine and C-Reactive protein. My triglycerides 46; HDL 114, and LDL 151 (I like it high, as it protects against infection and the brain loves it). After 3 weeks of taking a statin, a person has lost significant muscle mass for one thing - no thanks! I'd like to say to the dr. "so our bodies are not self regulating and self healing, and as you get older God says to take a drug to lower your cholesterol because he "didn't design us perfectly?" LDL is a good thing unless you make it a poor quality, like having small dense particles in that LDL. If I'm told one more time to take a statin, I'll ask for an NMR test (nuclear magnetic resonance) to check for small dense particles which I've heard are caused by a high carb diet.
@ChantYip
@ChantYip 4 жыл бұрын
My HDL is also high over 100 and my triglyceride is less than 50. My doctor wants me to take statin drug also. This is very poor advice. I once read a book by John Hopkins experts which says HDL over one hundred is excellent and no need to worry about total cholesterol over two hundred.

Fermented soy is what these studies suggest when considering the beneficial long-chain K2 Vitamins. There are many studies that contradict all our ideas and it can be very confusing to say the least. What I’m finding is that we have a lot to learn, and we need to be very careful and use information to discover the solutions. Things are not so simple...pointing to one nutrient or food can be very misleading. It depends on many factors. Not contradicting any people here...we all mean well. But there are as many studies that indicate the opposite....and we gotta be careful.

We in our culture make natto quite a lot but we don’t eat it raw as natto is eaten in Japan ( by raw what I mean is not as “raw” as “uncooked” kind of raw, since soya beans are cooked prior to fermentation and therefore natto can’t be raw in the first place) We usually dry the natto and store away for later use, and when we want to cook the dried natto we pre-soak it and then cook in usual method. Please can anyone tell me if cooking natto destroys its K2 MK-7 properties?

The medical industrial complex's failure to properly research and diagnose and treat microbiome and sleep and vital nutritional deficiency issues (including those related to Vitamin D3 and Vitamin K2 and Magnesium deficiencies as well as iatrogenic prescription medication usage) is a major reason why psychiatric iatrogenesis is a primary contributor to the third leading cause of death in the U.S. which is iatrogenesis in general. If the U.S. spent just a fraction of the over $40 billion each year it spends just on iatrogenic psychiatric drugs alone, on researching the issues discussed in this and related KZbin presentations we would probably, Lord willing, achieve an absolute revolution in medical efficacy improvement and iatrogenesis reduction. I had been prescribed medicin against gout, but when I read the documention on possible side effects, including diabetes, I decided not to take it for the rest of my life and instead take d3 + K2 mk7 and instead use naproxen if and when the pain got unbearable and only then. It has worked OK for some months now. The gout medicin was allopurinol, if you are familiar. About a month ago, I discovered a type of vitamin C (ascorbate) with cofactor? Q10. The pain in my back and left shoulder has suddenly dissappered. Coincidence? It may just be my imagination, but it seems to me that vitamines are very powerful healers... Thanks goes to Dr Berg for his down to earth explanations. Am I making any sense?

Jan Sirkia - Thank you for explaining. So good to hear your positive experience. I’m not familiar with any prescription drugs. Isn’t that why we appreciate Dr. Berg, and others (rhetorical). Best wishes for continued success.

Than you for your talk it is very important and ignites many questions. I have a question and I hope to find a direct answer in one of your coming videos. You advice people to take D3+K2 for strengthening bones and avoiding heart disease. However, you did not mention the side effect of K2 especially for patients who are taking blood thinning medications. Do they have to avoid taking K2 at all or they can take it with a dose that cannot contradict the working action of other blood thinning medications? Thanks and I hope to find an answer with pleasure.

No, it’s K1 that you have to be careful with. K1 is a coagulant. K2 is not.

Did your free and total level of testosterone( including libido?)dropped after starting suplementation? That would be very interesting since vitamin D3 should increase level of testosterone.

So, I’m assuming all k2 vitamins are not created equal? Is there a difference between your brand and other brands/companies that sell k2?

If your body has a deficiency in any vitamin or mineral it will result in a breakdown of function, the problem of taking a single vitamin is balance, we know D3 works alone side K2 but him many others are placed out of balance
